Obama Receives John F. Kennedy Profile In Courage Award, Demands Congress Show “Courage” And Not Repeal Obamacare…

In one of his highest-profile speeches since he left the White House, President Obama delivered an indirect but unusually potent retort to President Trump’s efforts to repeal swaths of the nation’s health care program, telling a Boston audience that congressional Republicans were effectively helping the rich at the expense of everyone else.

“I hope that current members of Congress recognize it takes little courage to aid those who are already powerful, already comfortable, already influential — but it takes great courage to champion the vulnerable and the sick and the infirm,” Obama said at the John F. Kennedy Library, accepting the annual Profile in Courage Award, according to excerpts of his prepared remarks.

Obama was responding to a House vote last week to repeal the Affordable Care Act, his signature legislative accomplishment, a move that Democrats emphasize would chop funding for poor people’s health care while cutting taxes for the rich if the bill becomes law.

Well, another award that he has made worthless. Barry awarded for courage? The only courage he can possibly be awarded for is for waking up next to Moochelle. Too Funny: Maxine Waters Claims She’s Putting Her “Career On The Line” To Resist Trump…

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) says she is putting her “career on the line” to speak out against President Trump.

At a gala hosted by EMILY’s list, a PAC that aims to elect female Democrats who support abortion rights, Waters said she has seen a boost in support from younger voters because of her “resistance to Trump,” the Washington Examiner reported.

She also noted a surge in social media following — she said she recently went from 46,000 followers to more than 300,000 on Twitter.

The California Democrat said that although she enjoys wide support in the district she represents, “there are many who do not like what I’m doing.”

“But I’ve decided that no matter those who do dislike what I’m doing, no matter those who disagree with me, I feel absolutely certain that this country deserves better than Donald Trump,” she said, according to the Examiner.

She also lashed out at the president during her address at the event, calling him a “disgusting, poor excuse of a man” and pushing for his impeachment.

Please tell me this idiot doesn't have any children. Please! Career? What career? She's putting her "career" on the line because she's a full fledged idiot who also lies with without any liability, not because she's going after Trump. Florida University To Award Trayvon Martin A Posthumous Honorary Degree

At its commencement ceremony on May 13, Florida Memorial University will present a posthumous honorary degree to Trayvon Martin, the Florida teenager killed by George Zimmerman five years ago.

The private university announced Wednesday that Martin’s parents, Sabrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, will accept a bachelor of science degree in aeronautical science with a concentration in flight education on behalf of their son.

The degree is in “honor of the steps he took during his young life toward becoming a pilot,” the school said in a Facebook post. Florida Memorial’s Department of Aviation and Safety has a designated Cessna pilot training center, and the school also houses the Trayvon Martin Foundation. It is based in Miami Gardens, where Trayvon Martin lived with his father.

What's the degree in - THUGGERY! We are a society in serious decline. This kind of stupid can't be fixed. So making the little thug a Saint wasn't good enough? Now he's a f**king astronaut? You can bet your ass that little piece of paper is winging it's way to ebay to see how much the family can get for it. And to “honor of the steps he took during his young life toward becoming a pilot,”. Really? The only flying he did was "flying off the handle" with a guy with a gun, and we all know how that turned out. He was in the 10th or 11th grade. What possible steps did he take to become a pilot? Rob a hangar or something. Well, his teachers did say he was always higher than a kite and spaced-out. That should account for something I guess. Get high often enough, and you too might just earn yourself some pilot wings!

I feel sorry for the students who paid money and put in the work to earn a BS degree in aeronautical science from this university only to see that same degree being handed out like candy on Halloween to some undeserving dead thug. Obama was right. Trayvon is like his son. Barrack received awards without achievement too.
