The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left. -- Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV)

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty. Thomas Jefferson

Jimmy Carter: Media Has Been ‘Harder On Trump Than Any Other President’

Via CNN:
President Donald Trump may have found an unlikely ally in the presidents’ club.
In an interview with The New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, former President Jimmy Carter said he’s eager to partner with Trump for a North Korea diplomatic mission.
While his comments about his North Korea plan were brief, the former Democratic commander in chief addressed several topics, including the Trump-Putin relationship and his disappointment of Obama’s work in the Middle East.
Here are the 5 most remarkable lines from Carter’s interview.
1. ‘I would go, yes’
Carter told the Times he’s willing to go to North Korea amid the ongoing tensions over nuclear weapons.
“I would go, yes,” he said.
He said he has talked with Trump’s national security adviser, Lt. Gen. H. R. McMaster, about his intentions but was given “a negative response.”
“I told him that I was available if they ever need me,” he said.

Media Has Been ‘Harder On Trump Than Any Other President says Jimmah? It must have been physically painful for CNN to print that. No Holiday cards for Jimmah this year. Carter also told the Times he’s willing to go to North Korea amid the ongoing tensions over nuclear weapons. Why so he can give them everything like when the Clintons sent him over?
No thanks. It would be the definition of insanity to doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Deserter Bergdahl Says Taliban More Honest Than U.S. Army

Via Fox News:
Bowe Bergdahl, the U.S. Army sergeant who pleaded guilty Monday to deserting his post in Afghanistan in 2009, says his Taliban captors were more “honest” with him than the Army has been since his release three years ago.
“At least the Taliban were honest enough to say, ‘I’m the guy who’s gonna cut your throat,’ ” Bergdahl tells British TV journalist Sean Langan in an interview with the Sunday Times Magazine of London headlined “The Homecoming from Hell.”
Langan, too, is a former Taliban hostage.
Bergdahl, 31, from Hailey, Idaho, says he never quite knew where he stood with the Army as he performed “administrative duties” while awaiting his desertion trial.
“Here, it could be the guy I pass in the corridor who’s going to sign the paper that sends me away for life,’’ he says. “We may as well go back to kangaroo courts and lynch mobs.”

President Hillary Clinton was supposed to come to the rescue.

Will somebody, anybody,  put the sorry low life POS traitor in front of a firing squad. Let's see if we can trade this useless POS back. What is the Taliban's return policy? I'm sure JugEars has the receipt. This treasonous little muslim loving scumbag deserter was expecting to be granted amnesty by our treasonous muslim scumbag ex-president, but somehow that went awry. Bergdahl has to be absolutely dumber than a box of rocks not to know what the possible penalty was for what he did unless he was expecting a pass by our imam in chief Barack Hussein Obama. Then a ticker-tape parade. But alas, the grand adventure is over. Time to wake up to the reality that actions have consequences. They did for the guys killed looking for your worthless ass.
