President Obama's reelection campaign, rattled
by his Wednesday night debate performance, could be in for even worse
news. According to knowledgeable sources, a national magazine and a national web site are preparing a blockbuster donor scandal story.

Obama Raises $150M in September, Tries to Block 'Blockbuster' Donor Scandal
President Barack Obama’s campaign raised more than $150 million in September, which was a record haul for the 2012 cycle, but the campaign may be actively trying to block a story in the works about a “blockbuster donor scandal” that could put its fundraising numbers under intense scrutiny.
According to the Washington Examiner,
“a taxpayer watchdog group conducted a nine-month investigation” and
uncovered “thousands of cases of credit card solicitations and
donations” to the Obama campaign. Many of those donations have allegedly
come from overseas and may be in violation of federal election laws.
Attorney General Eric Holder’s brother, William Holder, is employing illegals at the McDonald’s he and his wife own in Wake County.
The Carolina Journal is reporting Attorney General Eric Holder’s brother, William Holder, is employing illegals at the McDonald’s he and his wife own in Wake County. AG Holder visited the Knightdale location, posing for pictures with employees and patrons.
During approximately 30 visits, a reporter overheard employees mention they did not have a Social Security number, a green card, or any other document that would allow Mr. Holder to legally employ them.
Liberal Panic: Gore Blames the Altitude
The king of junk science comes forth with another totally ridiculous theory. Former Vice President Al Gore blames Denver and its thin air for Obama losing the Debate.
Happy Anniversary, Mr. & Mrs. Obama
"Other men probably weren't able to perform on their 20th anniversary either sweety"
“Just… just don’t, okay? I can’t even look at you right now. 20 years ago I handed you my heart, tonight that white guy handed you your ass. I'm going to stick my size 15 shoe up your ass if I lose my private jet because of this!"
David Axelrod Now Openly Plotting Romney Attacks With The Media
David Axelrod, Obama’s most senior adviser, is now holding conference calls with reporters where they’re strategizing together. Do you believe this?
Democratic strategists are now fighting to preserve the narrow poll lead which Mr Obama enjoyed in the run-up to the debate, as fired-up Republicans aim to capitalise on the primetime thrashing and entrench the image of Mr Romney as a potential President. Here’s more from The Daily Caller…
Mr Axelrod, speaking on a campaign conference call, made an appeal to reporters to make the points that Obama himself had failed to make in the debate.
‘All of you who travel on the road with Governor Romney know that he just few weeks ago stood up and said we didn’t need any more teachers,’ he said. ‘Last night he couldn’t be more enthusiastic about teachers and more teachers.’
Mr Romney had delivered ‘a very vigorous performance but one that was devoid of honesty’, Mr Axelrod said.
‘And so today, as the day after, I think the question for you [the media], for the American people is really one of character and whether or not a candidacy that’s so fundamentally rooted in hiding the truth and the facts from the American people and deception is the basis of trust on which you assign the presidency to a person.
Remember That "$5 Trillion Tax Cut" Obama Was Blathering On About Last Night? Yeah, He Was Lying.
Alternate title...Stephanie Cutter is really, really bad at her job.
Last night Obama kept hammering Romney about "A 5 trillion dollar tax cut" and when Romney said, no that's not my plan, Obama attacked saying Romney's one "Big bold idea is never mind"
Amazingly CNN fact checked the claim and called BS on Obama's strawman. Tonight Stephanie Cutter agreed with them.
This whole argument gives liberals fits.

BTW, Obama Decided Not To Send In The Military To Rescue Our Benghazi Personnel
Team Obama decided not to increase security at the Benghazi consulate. On the other hand:
According to the Wall Street Journal, as the attack on the U.S. consulate was raging, Obama took a “wait and see” approach.
Ninety minutes after news of the attack reached Washington, Obama, Sec. of State Hillary Clinton, JCS Chair General Martin Dempsey, and a national security adviser convened for an oval office meeting in which they ultimately rejected the course of U.S. military intervention. Instead, they decided to reach out to the Libyan government to ask if they would send reinforcements.
When the U.S. personnel at the consulate left the main building for what was supposed to be a safe house, questions regarding the deployment of forces seemed moot.
But the battle was still raging, and Ambassador Stevens’ life was close to its end.
Obama's Re-Election Case Rests On 5 Phony Claims
In making his case for re-election in the
face of historically high unemployment and sluggish growth, President
Obama has a simple and straightforward argument.
Things were terrible when I arrived, he says, thanks to Bush-era policies of tax cuts and deregulation. We stopped the decline, but the ditch was so deep that it will take time to get out. Still, we are making progress, even if it isn't as fast as everyone would like.
So the last thing we want to do is return to the failed Bush policies that, he says, drove us into the ditch.
That argument appears to be working. More people continue to blame Bush than Obama for the current poor state of affairs, and some surveys show that consumer confidence has recently increased.
But each part of Obama's argument is based on claims that are not accurate:
• Bush tax cuts and deregulation caused the recession.
At a campaign rally, Obama said Romney is "just churning out the same ideas that we saw in the decade before I took office . . . the same tax cuts and deregulation agenda that helped get us into this mess in the first place."
It's a standard Obama talking point. But it's not true. Bush's tax cuts did not cause the last recession.

AARP to Obama: Don’t mention us again
President Obama invoked AARP to defend his health care law last
night, prompting the influential group to release a statement telling
him not to do that again.
“While we respect the rights of each campaign to make its case to voters, AARP has never consented to the use of its name by any candidate or political campaign,” the group posted in a statement. “AARP is a nonpartisan organization and we do not endorse political candidates nor coordinate with any candidate or political party.”
Obama can perhaps be forgiven for thinking he could mention AARP given how they coordinated with him to pass Obamacare, which is a golden goose for the organization.
“Thanks to its cuts to Medicare Advantage, Obamacare is expected to expand the number of seniors buying “medigap” supplemental insurance plans,” The Washington Examiner explained in an editorial. “AARP controls 34 percent of the market for such plans. According to a 2011 House Ways and Means Committee report, AARP stands to make between $55 million and $166 million from Obamacare in 2014 alone.”
WOW.. we all know AARP is far left wing.

Obama Collapse in Illinois: Tied in District He Won by 23 Points in '08
Back in August, a poll showed Obama with just a 12-point lead over Romney in Cook County, Illinois. While he posted a huge lead in the city of Chicago, the poll found him actually losing to Romney in suburban Cook County. It was a shock that I set aside as an outlier.
Absentee Ballot Data Ohio Shows Bad News
...for those who believe Ohio will be as Democrat-heavy or more so than 2008.
A short sample of the shift, with link to the data at the end:
Champaign County: Was +3% GOP, now +23% GOP – 20 point shift.
Columbiana County: Was +9% DEM, now +9% GOP – 18 point shift.
Crawford County: Was +3% DEM, now +12% GOP – 15 point shift.
Cuyahoga County: Was +36% DEM, now +30% DEM (GOP already has 6,000 more requests than in 2008) – 6 point shift.
Erie County: Was +24% DEM, now +7% DEM -17 point shift.
Franklin County: Was +5% DEM, now +5% GOP – 10 point shift.

The statewide reported gap is D+5.51%, nearly a third of what the Democrats had enjoyed in 2008. Same-day voting in Ohio leaned more in McCain's favor four years ago, but the early vote crushed him. I suspect after last night's debate a considerable number of Republicans are itching to get their ballots back.

White House Has No Comment on House GOPers’ Assertions that Libyan Mission Requested Security Prior to 9/11/12 Attack
White House press secretary Jay Carney declined to comment on an
assertion by the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform
Committee that requests from diplomats in Libya for added security prior
to the September 11, 2012 attack on the diplomatic post in Benghazi,
Libya, were denied.
“I’m not going to get into a situation under review by the State Department and the FBI,” Carney said.

Biden: 'Yes, We Do' Want to Raise Taxes By a Trillion Dollars
Vice President Joe Biden, speaking earlier today in Iowa said, "Yes, we do" want to raise taxes by a trillion dollars:
"On top of the trillions of dollars of spending that we have already cut, we’re gonna ask – yes – we’re gonna ask the wealthy to pay more," said Biden. "My heart breaks, come on man. You know the phrase they always use? Obama and Biden want to raise taxes by a trillion dollars. Guess what? Yes we do in one regard. We want to let that trillion dollar tax cut expire so the middle class doesn’t have to bear the burden of all that money going to the super wealthy. That’s not a tax raise, that’s called fairness where I come from."
