Shillary Clinton Say's "I’m Being “Dehumanized”

Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that life under relentless public scrutiny can at times feel dehumanizing and isolating.
Clinton, the former secretary of state and potential 2016 presidential contender, kicked off an international speakers series for the World Affairs Council of Oregon.
In an event that lasted about an hour and a half, she offered up a speech that focused on foreign policy and the importance of advancing women’s rights, and then participated in a question-and-answer session.
At one point, she was asked about what it’s like to live in the spotlight.
There is “relentless scrutiny that now stalks not only people in politics but people in all kinds of public arenas,” she told the Portland audience. “And it gives you a sense of being kind of dehumanized as part of the experience. You really can’t ever feel like you’re just having a normal day. And you have to get over that. You have to make up your mind, you’re going to live your life the best you can. And it takes some planning and it takes some thought. It can be done, but you never forget you’re in that public arena.”
