Fox News Investigation Yields Disturbing Evidence Obama And Hillary Negligence Responsible For Death Of Ambassador, Marines, SEAL

 
Maybe if Hillary wasn’t so busy doing God knows what she would have been paying attention to what was going on here, and maybe if Obama would’ve attended more than just 39% of his national security briefings he would’ve as well. Or maybe they both knew, and were SO negligent that they didn’t do anything. One or the other is the case here, because I’ve been on the ground in U.S. military/diplomatic installations in war zones, and intelligence is normally lapped up like mother’s milk as a matter of survival, and whenever threats start trending over a period of time, as happened here, whatever needs to be done to raise security to a sufficient level is done, so people don’t die.

While the Obama administration says there was no actionable intelligence that could have prevented the assault on the U.S. Consulate in Libya, there was a heightened threat in the region due to at least four attacks on diplomatic and western targets leading up to the murder of the U.S. ambassador.
“This (the U.S. Consulate) was a place that was targeted months before with an IED (improvised explosive device),” Congressman Mike Rogers, Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, who has been briefed on the attack and investigation, told Fox News. “It’s clearly a target that they wanted to hit and they wanted to cause casualties. I find it — a little the glaring question of a 9/11 date. It’s just too many coincidences here.”

On June 6, an IED was thrown at the perimeter of the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. On June 11, the British ambassador’s motorcade came under attack by a rocket propelled grenade or RPG. Two security personnel were injured. Seven days later, on June 18, armed gunmen attacked the Tunisian consulate and burned its flag. And on August 5, five weeks before the assault on the U.S. Consulate, the International Committee of the Red Cross building in Benghazi was also struck by RPGs.
On Friday, the chair and ranking members of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, Joe Lieberman and Susan Collins sent a letter to the State Department Inspector General requesting an investigation into the U.S. Consulate’s security posture at the time of the attack. The letter specifically references the previous attacks in June on the Consulate and the British ambassador’s convoy, adding:
“Does the risk assessment process consider the capacity or lack thereof of the host country to provide security? Did the Libyan government request or suggest that security could be improved at the Benghazi facility prior to September 12, 2010?”
A spokesman for the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the nation’s top intelligence official, said “actionable intelligence would have meant that we either saw or heard something, through intelligence collection, that told us that a specific act was being planned or was imminent. As I have said, we are not aware of any actionable intelligence related to the attack in Benghazi.”
But a former official with the Bush administration said the Obama White House appeared to be dodging the real issue. “This definition relies on the notion that action is only taken to prevent a specific plot where we know the time, place and even method of attack. Action can be, and is taken, to increase security when more general threats, like what we saw this summer in Benghzai, are known.”
Asked if the four attacks prior to the ambassador’s murder were briefed to the president as part of the highly classified PDB or president’s daily brief which details threats against the U.S. homeland and U.S. interests, there was no immediate response from the ODNI nor the spokesman for the National Security Council.
Given the heightened threat picture, the former Bush administration official questioned whether more aggressive precautionary measures should have been taken at diplomatic missions even though the intelligence was apparently not specific. “President Bush was criticized for being disengaged before 9/11, but given what we all know now about the terrorist threat, there is no excuse for lacking engagement or focus on the persistent threats to U.S. personnel in North Africa.”

Here’s everything we know so far, and everything we’re likely to know for the foreseeable future as the State Department has announced a “no further questions” policy. Not that the MSM would ask any questions likely to embarrass Big Guy anyway.
Lessons learned:

1. It’s wrong to politicize lethal attacks on our embassies if you’re running against Big Guy.
2. The best way not to politicize this is to keep calm and carry on as if nothing happened; i.e., continue to skip daily intelligence meetings and attend all previously scheduled fundraisers.


3. This “volatile situation” in the Mid-East is not a response to U.S. policy, but rather due to a “a video – a film – that we have judged to be reprehensive and disgusting.”

4. The best way to control such a “volatile situation” is to ask YouTube/Google to take the video down. Because nothing causes “volatility” in the Middle East like free speech.

In summary then, let me make this perfectly clear: the current outbreak of violent protests in 20+ countries around the globe are not an al Qaeda led attack against U.S. policy. Rather, they’re just another spontaneous Arab Spring moment resulting from outrage over the “reprehensible and disgusting” movie made in the USA (3 words). And it is definitively NOT the fault of our dear leader who has gone out of his way to appease, apologize and absolve all Islamic supremacists of blame for our own shortcomings.  If blame must be placed (and it must) for causing Islamists torching the world and fanning the flames it rightly belongs squarely at the feet of a) George W. Bush, b) a 15 minute film clip on YouTube and c) Mitt Romney.
Big Guy will address this situation in detail as soon as everyone has coordinated and rehearsed their answers and we’ve secured our reelection. So keep calm and carry on as we continue to focus like a laser on the country’s struggling economy by firing up our printing presses for another round of inflation.

The Disgraceful Disregard for America’s Security Shown by Obama September 12, 13, and 14

On September 11th and definitely by September 12, the Obama administration should have known that something was brewing in Egypt and Libya. And, by Wednesday morning, the 12th, the news of the deaths of our diplomatic staff should have reached Washington.

 The FBI has charged an 18-year-old man for allegedly trying to detonate a car bomb outside a Chicago bar, federal prosecutors said Saturday.
Investigators have identified the suspect as Adel Daoud, a U.S. citizen from of Hillside, Ill., a Chicago suburb.

US State Dept Running Scared – Scrubbing Documents, Denying the Undeniable

CNN Reporting -  3 Days Warning:  Three days before the deadly assault on the United States consulate in Libya, a local security official says he met with American diplomats in the city and warned them about deteriorating security.

Jamal Mabrouk, a member of the February 17th Brigade, told CNN that he and a battalion commander had a meeting about the economy and security.  He said they told the diplomats that the security situation wasn’t good for international business.

“The situation is frightening, it scares us,” Mabrouk said they told the U.S. officials. He did not say how they responded.  (more)

To fully comprehend how utterly inept the Obama Administration’s foreign policy is it is always better to reference prior behavior. Think back to the beginning of the Arab Spring – Think back to Hillary Clinton saying one thing, and President Obama stating the complete opposite (Egypt/Mubarak). Think back to 11 days of AWOL Obama in Libya when Gaddafi was pushing back against his countries uprising and Obama was silent. Think back to Hillary Clinton saying the state department does not know “who the rebels actually are” in Benghazi.
Think back to UN Ambassador Susan Rice travelling to South Africa for a global warming weekend class/discussion while the United Nations Security Council met to discuss Libya during the crisis. Yeah, that’s right we had no-one there representing us, or our opinion, AT THE UN SECURITY COUNCIL MEETING to discuss how to deal with Gaddafi and Libya.   Instead, at the president’s specific instructions, Ambassador Rice was discussing “Cow Farts”, true, no joke. Bovine flatulence and how it can impact climate change – Conference Topic. [February 23, 24, 25th 2011 - look it up].

 From this 2011 UN Security Council Meeting came the International Criminal Court (ICC) charges against Gadaffi. Those short-sighted charges essentially insured the rebellion in Libya would be a fight to the death – Because Ghadaffi now had nothing to lose. If he quit the fight, he would be arrested, tried at the Hague and spend the rest of his life in jail. So why not fight to the death – he did.

 But the example is about how short-sighted, inept, detached, and complacent the President Obama outlook is.
It really is *that* bad.
It is horribly weak, bordering on cowardice, for the extreme lengths Obama and Clinton will go to avoid dealing with issues.
Quite simply, they both are terrible – they talk two divergent narratives simultaneously – they are both horribly lazy – they obviously dislike each other - they are not often selling the same story – they are both extremely horrible managers of people and processes – However, they both possess one striking commonality, that, in the world of diplomacy is toxically dangerous; they are both extremely unprofessional and sloppy.

First Powerline Blog outlines the Chaos at the State Dept – I spoke with a well-placed journalist last night whose sources describe the situation at the State Department in one word: “Chaos.” The working assumption is that several American embassies may have been penetrated, or are vulnerable to attack, because so many of them rely on local residents for staff needs at the embassy, and as such may be in a position to breach security if they have been recruited by Al Qaida. Moreover, the full story of the attack on the Benghazi consulate is much worse than we have been told.

 

The consulate in Benghazi was an interim facility, with only a standard door lock for security, and worse, Ambassador Stevens was traveling with only a light security detail, rather than in the heavily armed convoys our diplomats in the region usually employ. The attack on the Benghazi was no mere target of opportunity spurred by reaction to the “Innocence of Muslims” film; the film is just a pretext. The killing of Amb. Stevens was a premeditated hit, planned and carried out as retaliation for the recent drone strike that killed the number two Al Qaida operative in Afghanistan recently. The vulnerability of Stevens at the Benghazi compound was scouted out carefully. All the other embassy protest activity is just covering theater.

Jim Hoft at GatewayPundit has the story:  On Wednesday September 12, 2012 blogger Speak With Authority discovered that five days before 9-11, the US State Department sent out a memo announcing no credible security threats against the United States on the anniversary of 9-11.
The Overseas Security Advisory Council, who posted the memo, is part of the Bureau of Diplomatic Security under the U.S. Department of State.

But now it’s gone.   The State Department scrubbed the letter from its OSAC website.

The damning memo is gone.  How convenient. They flushed the damning memo down the internet memory hole.  

A History Lesson:

In the rush to curtail Muammar al-Qaddafi’s military capacity to attack civilians in Libya, the U.N. Security Council voted unanimously on February 26,2011 to impose a comprehensive arms embargo on Libya. But the measure also unwittingly impeded the effort of the Western-backed rebels to fight Qaddafi’s forces.
Paragraph 9 of Resolution 1970 required all U.N. members to “immediately take the necessary measures” to bar the sale, supply or transfer of weapons, mercenaries, or other supplies to Libya. The arms embargo, which was adopted before the rebels had emerged as a potential threat to the regime, included no exemptions for Qaddafi’s foes.
Perhaps the reason both Ambassador Rice and President Obama were unaware of the arms embargo is because they were both detached from Libyan decisions at the time the UN met in emergency session to make the resolution:   Which included #1.  Asset Freeze.  #2. ICC referral.  #3. Arms Embargo.   This was on February 23, 24, 25, 26, 2011 in UN emergency session.  
UN Ambassador Susan Rice chose not to attend, and Obama was hosting a Motown review in the White House East Room.   They were disinterested !!  
It was not until the press began poking Obama over the optics of his golf bag whilst Libyans were strafed in the streets that Obama decided to take a look at Libya.   11 days after the entire flipping thing started.   Hello?  People?  Can you see how flipping incompetent this administration is yet?   Anyone ?…
