The approval rating of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has plummeted to just 18 percent, a survey from Public Policy Polling has found.
The poll, which surveyed 645 Kentucky voters, found that just 18 percent of respondents approved of McConnell’s current performance, compared to 74 percent who disapproved. Seven percent of people said they were not sure.
McConnell, who is the longest-serving U.S. Senator in Kentucky history, having represented the state since 1984, was recently criticized by President Trump for failing to pass the healthcare reform bill through the Senate.
“Can you believe that Mitch McConnell who has screamed Repeal & Replace for 7 years, couldn’t get it done,” Trump wrote on Twitter earlier this month. “Mitch, get back to work and put Repeal & Replace, Tax Reform & Cuts and a great Infrastructure Bill on my desk for signing.”
The American people elected President Trump to enact his agenda, and anyone who didn't get that message needs to be removed. Mitch and the RINO'S should know that President Trump didn't go to Washington to get political experience from them but instead to teach them how to do their f**king job. But President Trump shouldn't focus on the McConnell right now. He should ignore him. As much as I hate the thought, Mitch got safely re-elected in 2014 and he's locked solidly in there through January of 2021, unless McCain's brain tumor is contagious.
There are three Senate seats for 2018 that need Trump's absolutely undivided attention right now.
(1) Heller in Nevada
(2) Flake in Arizona
(3) Corker in Tennessee
Three POS RINOs. Three Mitch allies. Three Trump haters. If all three of these assholes could get successfully primaried out by Trump-friendly Republicans, it would make a very big difference in the attitude of the GOP Senate. And when 2020 comes around, it's out with Mitch. And don't say it doesn't matter because Mitch is not up until 2020. It does matter, time to prepare for 2020.
