Maddow Trumped Over Trump Tax Return 'Story'
MSNBC's "Tax Records" Non-Story: Trump Made $150MM, Paid 25% Tax Rate, More Than Romney, Bernie and Obama
While Rachel Maddow drones on with the coherence of Janet Yellen, losing thousands of viewers by the minute, the MSNBC anchor was promptly scooped not only by the White House which revealed her "secret" one hour in advance, but also by the Daily Beast which reported that its contributor David Cay Johnston had obtained the first two pages of Trump’s 2005 federal income tax return, allegedly receiving them in the mail, and posted his "analysts" on his website, DCReport.org.
According to the documents, Trump and his wife Melania paid $38 million in total income tax, consisting of $5.3 million in regular federal income tax, and an additional $31 million of “alternative minimum tax,” or AMT.
“It is totally illegal to steal and publish tax returns,” the White House statement concluded. “The dishonest media can continue to make this part of their agenda, while the President will focus on his, which includes tax reform that will benefit all Americans.”
Sadly for Maddow, with this attempt at a "blockbuster" story which has quickly backfired, she may well have killed the great distraction that was the trope of Trump's tax returns, and which the rest of the "resistance" press hammered on every now and then.

Madcow's audience ballooned to three tonight as she reported that the President Trump paid $38 million in taxes in just one year. He actually paid a higher tax rate than even MSNBC and Comcast and far higher than Obama. Thanks Madcow, thats the breaking news we all wanted to know! President Trump makes a lot of money and pays a lot in taxes! I can take it. Please don't make it stop Mr President! All this winning! I'm getting addicted! All this winning while Liberals, proving over and over, that no one can fix stupid.
Maddow is an irrelevant, lying liberal POS masquerading as a journalist who simply cannot stand the fact that people will not take him seriously. So now he makes a desperate attempt to get some attention by 'releasing' information that has already been released in hopes of getting high fives from the other leftists in the mainstream media. But in the end, it's just another argument for a second term for Trump.

You don’t have to believe in God to go to heaven
In comments likely to enhance his progressive reputation, Pope Francis has written a long, open letter to the founder of La Repubblica newspaper, Eugenio Scalfari, stating that non-believers would be forgiven by God if they followed their consciences.
Responding to a list of questions published in the paper by Mr Scalfari, who is not a Roman Catholic, Francis wrote: “You ask me if the God of the Christians forgives those who don’t believe and who don’t seek the faith. I start by saying – and this is the fundamental thing – that God’s mercy has no limits if you go to him with a sincere and contrite heart. The issue for those who do not believe in God is to obey their conscience.
“Sin, even for those who have no faith, exists when people disobey their conscience.”
So, the Pope, the leader of the Catholic Church, thinks you can reject the existence of God and still be saved? Question for Frankie, why would an athiest want to go somewhere they don't believe exisists. Guess the following scriptures doesn't apply according to this fraud, I mean Pope:

I guess the Pope knows more about how to get into heaven than Jesus himself. So lets see, who do I follow? The pope, Jesus, the pope, Jesus. Ummm. I'll take Jesus. To
put it as bluntly as I can, the Pope has basically called Jesus a liar.
"No man comes to the father but through me." Kind of blows what the pope claims out of the water.
