President Trump Presents First Budget, Eliminates Funding For Pet Liberal Programs, NPR, PBS

President Trump is proposing to end all federal funding for public broadcasting. Now a budget battle is beginning, and brands like PBS and NPR say they are ready to fight -- again.

If Congress supports Trump's proposal, it would cause "the collapse of the public media system itself and the end of this essential national service," Corporation for Public Broadcasting CEO Patricia Harrison said in a statement Thursday morning.

She emphasized that noncommercial stations offer educational shows for kids, historical documentaries, newscasts, and emergency alerts.

When you talk about wasted money, you've got to be including PBS and NPR in the conversation. Cutting them is a good start. Their usefulness has been over for decades. Both of these stations have become nothing but leftist propaganda broadcasting, so let the leftists who watch and listen to this bullshit fund it themselves during their next telethon. Or better yet, let Soros fund them. They're singing his song, so he might as well pay for it.

Mother “Transitions” To A Man After Son Becomes A Girl…

A transgender dad and daughter from Detroit are revealing their incredible journeys as they transition from mom and son.

Corey Maison, 15, first told her parents she identified as a girl four years ago, but it was not until last year she learned that her mother also struggled with her gender identity. The pair are now leaning on each other as they transition together.

The teen has chronicled their transitions on her Instagram account, and the two sat down for an interview with Australia’s “60 Minutes” to talk about the experience.

“I wanted to make my parents proud of who I am, but I thought that they would not like me,” Corey said about coming out as transgender.

Eric Maison, who used to go by Erica, said that he was emboldened by his daughter’s decision. He wrestled with different emotions while deciding whether to transition.

“The first feeling was relief, the second was terror,” he said. “Fear for what my future would hold, fear for how my family and children would, fear for what the rest of my life was going to look like.”

Eric Maison has since undergone a double mastectomy. He said he plans to stay together with his husband, Les, who supports his transition.

OMG! Global Warming May Shrink Horses To The Size Of Cats

Global warming shrank certain animals in the ancient past, and scientists think it could happen again.

Warm-blooded animals got smaller at least twice in Earth’s history when carbon dioxide levels soared and temperatures spiked as part of a natural warming, a new study says.

University of New Hampshire researcher Abigail D’Ambrosia warned that mammals — but not people — could shrivel in the future under even faster man-made warming.

“It’s something we need to keep an eye out for,” said D’Ambrosia, who led the new work. “The question is how fast are we going to see these changes.”

Three different species shrank noticeably about 54 million years ago when the planet suddenly heated up. One of them — an early, compact horse — got 14 percent smaller, going from about 17 pounds to 14.6 pounds, according to an analysis of fossil teeth in Wednesday’s journal Science Advances .

“These guys were probably about the size of maybe a dog, then they dwarfed,” said D’Ambrosia. “They may have gone down to the size of a cat.”

Another creature that contracted was a lemur-like animal that’s the earliest known primate. It shrank about 4 percent; while it may not seem like much, it’s noticeable because studies of the animal over millions of years showed it was usually getting bigger over time, D’Ambrosia said.

Previous studies have documented a similar shrinking of mammals, including another early horse ancestor, during an earlier warming about 56 million years ago. Scientists and farmers have also long tracked animals, such as cows, that shrink and give less milk during hotter stretches.

This latest work shows heating and shrinking are connected over millions of years.

Chelsea Clinton To Author Children’s Book Called “She Persisted”

Chelsea Clinton is authoring a children’s book about women who have changed American history. The book will be titled She Persisted, an apparent nod to the controversy surrounding Senator Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) being silenced on the senate floor, Entertainment Weekly reported on Thursday.

The picture book will reportedly depict 13 influential women in American history including Harriet Tubman, Helen Keller, Nellie Bly, Maria Tallchief, Claudette Colvin, Clara Lemlich, Ruby Bridges, Margaret Chase Smith, Sally Ride, Florence Griffith Joyner, Oprah Winfrey, and Sonia Sotomayor. The final influential woman has not been announced yet.
