Many people jumped on this comment snippet as soon as it was tweeted
by the media. I sensed something was off with the media lead on the
comment itself, so I witheld opinion until I could see and hear the
context. Having said that the term “optimal” was placed into the
conversation by Jon Stewart.
However, Jon Stewart was talking about the poor presidential
response, and the confusing explanations from the White House,
Spokesperson(s), the larger administration per se’, and the President
himself. In essence the “confused messaging” was not optimal.
If President Obama was responding to the poor “messaging”
descriptive then any outrage would have been seriously misplaced,
because we all agree the confusing messaging was far from optimal. Heck,
it was absurdly ridiculous.
BUT…
…. When President Obama responded to Jon Stewart Obama was not talking about the “messaging”, he was talking about the “event”.
So therefore EVERY CINTILLA OF BACKLASH for this horrifically worded response is ABSOLUTELY APPROPRIATELY PLACED.
You can decide for yourself. One
thing is certain, if Romney or any Republican had used the same
terminology the media would be using it in a 24/7 continuous loop.

Obama Supporters: What’s Benghazi?
Via Hot Air.
The clever folks at Revealing Politics recently visited an Obama event in Ohio and asked Obama supporters what they thought about the situation in Benghazi.
The results were… revealing.

Romney Spokesperson Mocks MSNBC For Paying Men More Than Women, Andrea Mitchell Agrees
Speaking with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell on Thursday, senior adviser to Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign, Barbara Comstock, was asked about Romney’s position on the Lilly Ledbetter
Act. Comstock said it was clear that there were pay inequality issues,
and cited MSNBC who she says pays their male employees more than their
female employees. Mitchell agreed with Comstock that this was the case.
“For Lilly Ledbetter, this was not just a legal issue,” Mitchell explained to Comstock. “This was the fact that she was not permitted to sue for equal pay because the statue had run out and the law said, if you didn’t know the men you were working with were making more money, which many of us don’t know – we don’t have access to those confidential…”
“We know here at MSNBC the guys get paid more,” Comstock interjected.
“We certainly do,” Mitchell replied.

Michelle O: Barack Never Blamed Anyone for His Problems
Such an assertion might have some credibility except for the fact
he’s been whining about Bush for four years. Other than that, he’s
always accepted responsibility. Oh, and he also blamed war, tsunamis,
the weather, ATMs and various other factors. Outside of that, he’s
always accepted blame for things.
Yeah, right.
Yeah, right.
First lady Michelle Obama said Wednesday that President Obama did not look to blame others for the challenges he faced as president, an apparent rebuke to Republican accusations that the White House continues to point the finger at President George W. Bush for the lagging economy. The crazy thing is she might be so delusional as to actually believe this bullshit.
“See, but your president, he didn’t point fingers,” Mrs. Obama said, at a campaign fundraiser in New York. “He didn’t place blame. Instead, he got to work, because he was thinking about folks like my dad and like his grandmother. See, and that’s why he cut taxes for small businesses and for working families because he believes that in America, teachers and firefighters should not pay higher tax rates than millionaires and billionaires.”
Clinton: Romney’s Argument Is True, Country Isn’t ‘Fixed’
President Clinton told supporters that Republican nominee Mitt Romney’s
argument that “we’re not fixed” is true in a speech Thursday in Parma,
Ohio.
But we already knew that.
Once in awhile he tells the truth.

Obama's pension is larger than Romney's
Remember when the President said this during the debate:
"I don't look at my pension. It's not as big as yours so it doesn't take as long. I don't check it that often."Here's the truth:
Warm Up The Fat Lady…

Two More Brutal Biden Gaffes on Campaign Trail
Two epic gaffes at one campaign stop.
First, Vice President Joe Biden told a group of supporters that Paul
Ryan "has written a book called The Young Guns with two other members of the House, no these are Republican leaders in the House. You had, unfortunately, the bullets are aimed at you.” Then he lost track of which version of planet Earth he's on and wondered who in the audience had served in our war with Iran. Oh, and so is Harry Reid -- who raises his hand…
twice!
So which is it snorting, cackling, unhinged Slow Joe? Are Romney and Ryan going to "put y'all in chains" or aim bullets at us?
Maybe it's both.
Remember when the corrupt media frowned on "eliminationist" rhetoric.
Good times. Good times.
Biden really is a little, uhm, short of a full deck, don’t you think?
Here he is at the same event under the bizarre impression America went
to war with Iran. Oh, and so is Harry Reid -- who raises his hand…
twice!
Right now we have a corrupt media going
all-in on Obama's "binder" nonsense. And yet there hasn't been a word
or a sound or a peep about Slow Joe lying in the vice presidential debate about his role in Social Security reform.
So let's not hold our breath over the
idea that the corrupt media will frown on Slow Joe's "eliminationist"
rhetoric or his elder-lapse on who we're at war with.
Harrelson, Sheen and Asner Line Up for New 9/11 Truther Film
A gaggle of far-left actors have signed on for a new film embracing the 9/11 Truther movement.
"September Morn," to be directed by former stuntman B.J. Davis, will star Woody Harrelson, Martin Sheen, Daniel Sunjata ("Rescue Me"), Judd Nelson and Ed Asner.Styling itself as a drama in the tradition of Twelve Angry Men, the film's advance publicity note hints at a cover-up, saying: "We the people demand that the government revisit and initiates a thorough and independent investigation to the tragic events of 911."
Other stars appearing in the film, according to IMDB.com, include Esai Morales (last seen in "Atlas Shrugged: Part II"), Valerie Harper and John Heard.
Sheen, Harrelson and Asner have a history of questioning what "really" happened on Sept. 11, 2001, although making a feature film about those questions may bring greater scrutiny to their career choices.
So This Is How Newsweek Dies… With Thunderous Applause
Newsweek magazine has announced it will no longer exist in print form.
GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEY WANT, AND THEY’LL COME OUT FOR IT IN DROVES: The infamous quip often attributed to Red Skelton when asked about the enormous turnout at despised Hollywood mogul Harry Cohn’s funeral is apropos today as well: “So This Is How Newsweek Dies… With Thunderous Applause.”
Although, I’m not sure if the “We Are All Socialists Now” cover was the moment of Newsweek’s slow descent into death; there were plenty of warning signs leading up to it.
