The Congressional Hispanic Caucus is blasting Immigration and Customs Enforcement over a series of tweets, which the Caucus says are meant to intimidate undocumented immigrants brought into the United States as children.
“It is shameful that ICE is ratcheting up fear and terror,” amongst DACA recipients, the head of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, Rep. Michelle Lujan (D-NM), said in a statement on Friday.
DACA, which stands for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, is an Obama-era policy instituted in 2012 that grants leniency to some undocumented immigrants who were brought into the country as minors if certain criteria is met.
A letter to the Acting Director of ICE Thomas Homan from the Congressional Hispanic Caucus assailed the tweets as “despicable” and called on ICE to, “use its limited resources to target violent criminals and not to harass and deport young immigrants who are productive and engaged members of society.”
The ICE tweets that Hispanic lawmakers are decrying came out Thursday afternoon and emphasize that “DACA is not a protected legal status” while noting “active DACA recipients are typically a lower level of enforcement priority.”
Another Caucus heard from. Let's see, the Congressional Black Caucus thinks we're racist, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus doesn't like ICE, what does the Congressional White Caucus have to say? What? What do you mean there isn't a Congressional White Caucus? Well that's pretty racist and bigoted! So now we have to put up with the bullshit from another f**king racist Caucass, the Congressional Hispanic Caucass? A black one wasn't enough? Looks to Me as if we need an American Patriot Caucus. But that's gonna happen as long as there are democrats around because they put ethnicity above nationalism, patriotism, and Americanism. Their not with us, their against us.
What the hell do they think ICE 's job is, to provide plenty of ice for their Margaritas! The only ones ratcheting up "fear and terror" are groups like the Congressional Hispanic Caucus and the DNC. Congressional Hispanic Cacus? Sounds like they belong in Mexico. We are a country of Americans and that's what the people in congress should be.
Students at an Iowa high school who dressed up in America-themed red, white and blue clothing at a basketball game are being blasted for their insensitive attire because one of the teams has players from refugee families.
Morgan Wheat, the assistant coach for Des Moines North, slammed Valley High School students’ patriotic attire. “Any normal person, any educated person can look at that and think what the hell are these kids thinking,” he said.
Several of the players from North come from refugee families, according to the local NBC affiliate.
“A lot of people were very upset about it,” a sophomore from North told the local CBS affiliate. “Even if that was their theme for the game, I feel like they should have switched that because everyone knows North is a more diverse school.”
At Valley High School, total minority enrollment is 26 percent, while at North, it’s 66 percent, according to U.S. News and World Report.
After North students and their parents took to social media, the student government at Valley High School hand-delivered an apology letter.
“It has been brought to our attention that the decision by the Valley High School student section to wear U.S.A. apparel at our game last night was offensive to members of your community and fan base,” the student leadership members wrote. “We are deeply sorry if we have offended anyone in any way. … Please know that our intent was in no way to offend or demean—just to support our own team in a way we have done before.”
Let me get this right. These assholes come to our country as refugees and the symbol of country, the flag offends them? Too f**king bad. So tell me what are we supposed to do to make these refugees feel at home, have a beheading at half time. This is the United States of America, if refugees aren't going to assimilate to the American way of life they can get the hell out. The days of bowing down to other countries is over.

Refugees should be bowing to the flag of the country who saved their asses from abuse at the hands of their own countrymen and, quite possibly, fellow muslims. If they are offended in anyway, let that be their one-way ticket back home to deal with the slaughter they supposedly escaped from in their shithole country..

So here we are, in 2017, 50 days after President Trump took office and the markups to the Obamacare Repeal and Replace actions are underway, and none other than the very same Democratic Party leader Nancy Pelosi has this to say (in a letter to Speaker Ryan)…
