Looking for something to happen to Colbert is about as possible as thinking they will "Lock Her Up". He's not going to be fired. "The Late Show" is pre-taped and approved by CBS execs before it goes on the air. They probably thought the "controversy" would be good for ratings. For liberals, no law is too strong to break and no words are to filthy to spew against our President or his family. Colbert will wear any repercussions assessed like a badge of honor, and it will only make him more popular with the sheep. Oh, and if there is even a fine, it will be taken care of by the likes of Soros and/or hollywood liberals. Democrats never police themselves, so don't expect it to start now.
What really pisses me off, is when a conservative says something that liberals label as racist, homophobic, or whatever other bullshit they come up with, and demand they be fired, we just cave and remove them. And if a conservative said anything like that about Obama when he was in office he would have been fired immediately. Pulling their sponsors works because most companies are run by liberals. Have you seen any sponsor pull their adds from the Colbert show? Of course not. The major networks are using the airwaves to say FU to the President and 50% of America. As long as Democrat liberals control ABC, CBS, and NBC, America will continue to lose the war, and media terrorists like Colbert will continue to win the war against anyone that threatens the Swamp. The liberal left populate TV and Government. They're all in it together and are of like mind. Only political figures on the right are fair game to these leftists. Truth against the left get you in trouble. Lies from the left are treated as truth. There is no middle ground. It's been almost a week and nothing from CBS or the FCC. So, pardon me if I believe nothing more than a "possible" fine will come of this if that. Nothing is going to happen. The cult will protect him.
A new bill has just passed the NC House that would allow North Carolina drivers to legally hit protesters who are blocking the road without being sued, as long as they “exercise due care. It, “provides that a person driving an automobile while exercising due care is immune for civil liability for any injury to another if the injured person was participating in a demonstration or protest and blocking traffic.”
“As we’ve seen, time and time again, as folks run out in the middle of the streets and the interstates in Charlotte and attempt to block traffic,” … he wants to ensure that “drivers don’t have to fear driving through Charlotte or anywhere in North Carolina.”
“This bill does not allow for the driver of a vehicle to target protesters intentionally,” he added. “It does protect individuals who are rightfully trying to drive down the road.”
