Senate Dems Threaten To Block Committee Hearings Over Comey Firing

Democrats are threatening to hold up Senate committee hearings as they demand answers about President Trump’s firing of FBI Director James Comey.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Wednesday asked for unanimous consent that 13 committee meetings be allowed to take place, a routine request that is normally granted.

But Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), the No. 2 Senate Democrat, objected, pointing to Trump’s decision to remove Comey.

Face it, these assholes are going to keep this shit up for the next four years. Watch everything they do and then ask yourself why our so-called representatives didn't do the very same thing to throw a wrench into Barry's gears. If McConnell has any spine at all, he'll tell them that the meetings will take place without them. Hold the committee meetings as scheduled, and if the Democrats don't show, more the better. McConnell should send them 46 baby bottles, full of Kool-Aid, coloring books, crayons, puppies and little preprinted signs saying 'safe space'. Tough shit Democrats. You can block nothing. Only delay. If you want to play this pathetic game, then it's time to use the nuclear option yet again.
