Hollywood's Idol and Child Rapist Compares U.S. Court To Nazis Over Order Denying No Jail Time
“Mr. Polanski was as justified in fleeing this Court’s illegal conduct as he was to flee the Germans who invaded Poland,”
A judge ruled the Oscar-winning director’s attempt to essentially avoid more jail time if he returned to the U.S. 39 years after fleeing American justice for raping a 13-year-old girl is not happening. Polanski wanted to force the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office to make a public declaration of whether they would seek additional time behind bars for him if he were to return to America. DENIED. Failing that, the director’s lawyer wanted him sentenced in absentia – neither of which are happening now.
