Al Gore And Leonardo DiCaprio Fly Into DC To March For The Climate

Former Vice President Al Gore and actor Leonardo DiCaprio were spotted among the throng of people in 90-degree weather participating in Saturday’s Peoples Climate March in Washington, D.C., which takes aim at President Trump’s environmental agenda.

Gore helped to carry a large banner during the march and posed in a number of pictures with march participants.

DiCaprio could be seen waving around a “climate change is real” sign.

On Wednesday evening we became aware of a confrontation that took place on a sidewalk outside the STEM Academy at the end of the school day on April 21, 2017 involving one of our staff members and two protesters. The argument was captured on film. We have begun a thorough investigation into this unfortunate situation and have placed the staff member on administrative leave. We do not condone or support the conduct expressed in the video and are deeply disappointed that this incident occurred. His conduct does not represent the values of the school district or the respect we expect our employees to show for the civil rights of others. This has now become a personnel matter and we must follow the policies and procedures that we have in place concerning staff issues. We truly apologize to all for the actions of this employee.

Obama Freed 7 Iranians Who Were Threats to US National Security as Part of His Iran Nuclear Deal

In a blockbuster exposé, Politico’s Josh Meyer reports that Team Obama overruled veteran prosecutors to free seven Iranians, claiming publicly they’d merely violated economic sanctions. In fact, they were charged with posing threats to US national security as part of a weapons procurement ring.

More, the administration also dropped charges against 14 fugitives involved in smuggling sophisticated weapons to Iran and its terrorist subsidiaries. That move ended the international arrest warrants.

Now that we elected a president who is on our side and loves America, the Republican party is too busy stabbing him and America in the back to actually fix Barry's destruction. The American people are so fed up that street justice may be the only real answer.

Obama will be paid $400,000 to give a speech at Cantor Fitzgerald’s healthcare conference this September, according to Fox Business. Some of Obama’s supporters are upset with the former president who often railed against income inequality and the business practices of Wall Street.

The Washington Post gave four reasons why Obama’s $400,000 speech is a bad idea. One of the reasons the article cites is that in President Obama’s 2006 book The Audacity of Hope he called arrangements like this a corrupting influence.

ESPN will cut 100 on-air personalities today

ESPN is cutting a number of its most familiar faces as part of a larger layoff of 100 on-air personalities and writers.

ESPN didn't release a full list of those let go. But among the cuts are former NFL quarterback and analyst Trent Dilfer, prominent NFL reporter Ed Werder, senior baseball writer Jayson Stark and host Jay Crawford, all of whom shared the news about themselves on Twitter.

Most people affected by the job cuts, including television, radio and online personalities, were informed of the decision Wednesday, and many of the layoffs took effect immediately. A source told CNNMoney that ESPN also plans to cut a limited number of additional off-air employees.

ESPN is shifting its focus toward digital as it faces cable subscriber losses and increased pressure on costs. The network has spent billions of dollars in recent years on rights deals with major sports leagues and college conferences.

Judge Who Blocked Trump Sanctuary City Order Bundled $200K for Obama

Federal Judge William Orrick III, who on Tuesday blocked President Trump’s order to withhold federal funds from sanctuary cities, reportedly bundled hundreds of thousands of dollars for President Barack Obama.

Orrick, of the Northern District of California, issued an injunction against the Trump administration after the city of San Francisco and county of Santa Clara sued over the president’s plan to withhold federal funds from municipalities that harbor illegal immigrants.

Angry Muslim Employees File a Lawsuit and Plan to Rally Against Amazon Due to Lack of Prayer Rooms

Outraged Muslims are reportedly planning a May 1 demonstration at the Amazon headquarters in Seattle, Washington.The company is under fire after several Muslim security guards demanded time and space to pray five times a day, while on the job.

The guards contend in a lawsuit filed this week that the subcontractor who employs them does not appropriately accommodate their faith and retaliates against those who speak out.

The Service Employees International Union and the guards allege that Amazon grants high-earning tech workers conference rooms to pray in, but they do not provide the same accommodation for contracted security officers during their law-mandated work breaks.

Amazon and the security contractor have refuted the allegations.

Screw them, their prayer room, and the goats they rode in on. Talk about KARMA! This is the same Amazon whose CEO, Bezos, who cheered a Seattle activist judge when he blocked President Trump's Executive Order to keep people from coming here from terrorists countries. Former Democratic National Committee chair and presidential candidate Howard Dean earned the scorn of social media Thursday when he tweeted that hate speech is not covered by the First Amendment.

Dean was responding to a former New York Times reporter, who referenced a past comment made by conservative commentator Ann Coulter.

Dean’s assertion is false: “hate speech” is fully protected in the United States under Supreme Court precedents such as Brandenburg v. Ohio and Snyder v. Phelps. The only hateful or bigoted speech that can be banned is incitement to “imminent lawless action” that poses an immediate threat.

If the first amendment didn't protect hate speech, there wouldn't be a democrat party. "Pigs in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon", "Wadda we want, dead cops, when do we want it, NOW", "I hate white men",  is not hate speech, but free speech with these assholes. But "Jesus loves you" or "I support traditional marriage", definitely hate speech. Hey Howeird, all speech is protected by the First Amendment. ALL SPEECH! Even speech you disagree with or that offends you is protected. Nowhere in the Constitution does it state you have the "right" to never be offended!
