Via Free Beacon:
Democratic assemblywoman Deborah Glick of the New York State Assembly has introduced legislation that would fine people who do not vote, and has been promptly criticized on the constitutionality of the measure.Glick’s legislation proposes a $10 fine for those who fail to vote without providing a “valid excuse,” but she does not specify what a valid excuse would be, the New York Daily News reports.Glick also wrote a memo claiming the bill’s intention is to increase voter turnout and force elected officials to better represent their constituents.
How about we fine the idiots that voted for you instead? Hey stupid, how can you fine people if you can't ID them? To fine them, you're going to have to know who they are. Does this mean you are for voter ID now? These liberal nuts are very confusing. I want to fine people for being stupid. We'd make hundreds of billions every year just fining liberal democrats.
Only a liberal can be this stupid. Voting is a political act and a political statement under our Constitution. So is choosing not to vote you idiot. This is why we are where we are in this nation. To many stupid people being given a voice where they have no understanding of the constitution.
