WASHINGTON — The Justice Department put an avowed political supporter of President Obama in charge of the criminal probe into the IRS’s targeting of tea party groups, according to top Republicans who said Wednesday that the move has ruined the entire investigation.
House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa and subcommittee Chairman Jim Jordan said they’ve discovered the head of the probe is Barbara Kay Bosserman, a trial lawyer in the Justice Department who donated more than $6,000 to Mr. Obama’s 2008 and 2012 campaigns, as well as several hundred dollars to the national Democratic Party.
“The department has created a startling conflict of interest,” House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa and subcommittee Chairman Jim Jordan said in a letter, reviewed by The Washington Times, which was sent Wednesday. “It is unbelievable that the department would choose such an individual to examine the federal government’s systematic targeting and harassment of organizations opposed to the president’s policies.”
"Sometimes I think this former black panther AG creates more damage than Barry. When is someone going to do something about getting rid of this f**king cancer. This corrupt racist, lying asshole must go. Just another embarrassing and blatantly pathetic corrupt move. This is the only bastard in America I hate more than Osama Obowel. When is this country going to wake the hell up? Stop with these sham investigations and appoint a special prosecutor already. Trouble is, the only person who has the authority to appoint one is (drum roll please), Eric Holder. They don't
even pretend to be impartial anymore. What a f**king mess we are in. I find it hard to believe our spineless, nutless, brainless sitting morons in congress just turn their heads the other way with all this shit. They just let this corrupt reich do whatever the hell they please. Oh sure, they "try to get to the truth", but only so long as it takes for hell to freeze over. Then they sweep it under the rug, wipe their hands and laugh at and mock those of us who are concerned about our country. You know, the last few years I've been trying very hard to believe that one of our elected officials has some balls and is going to stand up and say, "ENOUGH", but I've come to the realization now that short of a revolution, that is never going to happen. There isn't a patriot in Washington. Just get ready for the news conference by the end of the month to announce that they have found no instances of Tea Party targeting. It will be a Fast & Furious decision." MC
