Americans draw a fine line when it comes to respecting each other’s rights.
If a Christian wedding photographer who has deeply held religious beliefs opposing same-sex marriage is asked to work a same-sex wedding ceremony, 85% of American Adults believe he has the right to say no. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only eight percent (8%) disagree even as the courts are hearing such challenges.
"I agree 100% that Christian business owners should be allowed to turn down whomever they want. They are not discriminating against race, they are practicing their belief. They are their own business owner. Who are these gay people to demand that everyone has to accept their gayness. Notice how all these couples in these above lawsuits all ran to the media, with their supposed sob story. I don't have a problem with their gayness, my problem is them not accepting my right to my values too. What libtards fail to realize is this is what creates opportunity. If there are no gay-friendly hotels or restaurants or cake shops, then stop complaining, write up a business plan and go take out a small-business loan. Create what may be a business to capitalize on a need. Of course, I think it may be wise to stay in San Fran or Houston or any libtard-centric city. Remember, it's location, location, location.
Think about it, is this Christian business owner doing anything different than what a a Jewish bakery being forced to decorate a cake with a swastika would do. Can pork consumers demand the
muslim business owner serve them pork? Or the vegetarian restaurant serve meat? And did the gay community stop eating at Chic Fillet because the owner didn't believe in gay marriage? That was OK right, because it was their right to boycott a business that was not in line with their beliefs. It's all so f**ked up anymore. This goes beyond religion, it is our right of free association that is being attacked, not just religious beliefs. Its all part of the new upside-down world we live in thanks to Barry." MC
