Affirmative Action has always been about giving jobs to unqualified minorities over more qualified candidates. Actual performance on the job can be fudged to make the affirmative action employees look like heroes. Case in point, just look at what the mainstream media does routinely with Hussein, who is the greatest affirmative action hire ever. Well, you can see where this will go, someone drowns because the lifeguard can't swim well enough to save them, then the greiving family sues the city, the city loses lawsuit and closes all pools to avoid more suits. Then real, qualified lifeguards all lose their jobs. The city files for bankruptcy, and now you know the rest of the story. Everything is honky dory until some kid drowns and who gets the blame then, Bush? I guess it won't matter when a child drowns. It's not like someone used a gun, right? This is the

Well, at least this stupidity will create more jobs since we'll need more lifeguards at each location to save the lifeguards that shouldn't be lifeguards. If you think about it, it's racism. Most of the children using these pools are from the city and probably mostly minority. Not only will the children drown, but so will the lifeguards who try to save them. Where is Al Sharpnuts and Jesse jackass when you need them. It's a case of progressives practicing a socialist culture once again. Guess abortion isn't killing enough for them. In a bizarre case of affirmative action run amok, Phoenix is recruiting minority lifeguards for its public pools – even if they can’t swim.
The Aquatics program in Phoenix is trying to recruit lifeguards that better reflect the communities where they work.

In a staggering case of affirmative action gone wild, officials in a major U.S. city are actually recruiting minorities to be lifeguards at public pools even if they’re not good swimmers. It’s all in the name of diversity.
You can’t make this stuff up. It’s a real-life story out of Phoenix, the capitol of Arizona and the nation’s sixth-largest city. It has more than 1.4 million residents and, among its official mottos is “value and respect” of diversity. This means “more than gender and race,” according to the city’s official website. It also encompasses “uniqueness and individuality” and embracing differences. “We put this belief into action to provide effective services to our diverse community.”
Evidently officials are willing to compromise those “effective services” at 29 public swimming pools spread throughout the city. To diversify the lifeguard force, Phoenix will spend thousands of dollars to recruit minorities even if they’re not strong swimmers, according to an official quoted in a news report. Blacks, Latinos and Asians who may not necessarily qualify can still get hired, says the city official who adds that “we will work with you in your swimming abilities.”
