Former President Bill Clinton suggested Friday that the only reason the race is competitive is “impatient” Americans that do not understand how the economy works, at a campaign event in Wisconsin:
PRESIDENT CLINTON: This shouldn’t be a
race—the only reason it is, is because Americans are impatient and want
things done the day before yesterday. They don’t understand why the
economy isn’t totally hunky-dory today.
