Las Vegas Business Owner Fires 22 Employees After Obama Wins

A Las Vegas business owner fired 22 employees after Barack Obama won reelection on Tuesday.
CBS Las Vegas reported:

LAS VEGAS (CBS Las Vegas) — A Las Vegas business owner with 114 employees fired 22 workers today, apparently as a direct result of President Obama’s re-election.
“David” (he asked to remain anonymous for obvious reasons) told Host Kevin Wall on 100.5 KXNT that “elections have consequences” and that “at the end of the day, I need to survive.”

…“Well unfortunately, and most of my employees are Hispanic — I’m not gonna go into what kind of company I have, but I have mostly Hispanic employees — well unfortunately we know what happened and I can’t wait around anymore, I have to be proactive. I had to lay off 22 people today to make sure that my business is gonna thrive and I’m gonna be around for years to come. I have to build up that nest egg now for the taxes and regulations that are coming my way. Elections do have consequences, but so do choices. A choice you make every day has consequences and you know what, I’ve always put my employees first, but unfortunately today I have to put me and my family first, and you watch what’s gonna happen. I’m just one guy with 114 employees — well was 114 employees — watch what happens in the next six months. The Dow alone lost 314 points today. There’s a tsunami coming and if you didn’t think this election had consequences, just wait.”

MSM Ignored Oct. 30 Report Showing US Dropped Out of Top 10 in Prosperity Index

The 2012 Legatum Prosperity Index found that the “American Dream is in jeopardy” and “The national ethos of the U.S. is under threat.” The assessment of prosperity is based on material wealth and personal well-being.  The Prosperity Index benchmarks countries in eight categories: Economy, Entrepreneurship & Opportunity, Education, Governance, Personal Freedom, Health, Safety & Security, and Social Capital.
The Unites States dropped out of the global prosperity ‘top ten’ for the first time to the twelfth position in the worldwide prosperity rankings and fell eight places in ‘Entrepreneurship & Opportunity’. The assesment found fewer US citizens agree that  ”hard work gets you ahead.”
Business Insider reported:

“The London-based public policy institute pegged the precipitous drop in the U.S. to a decline in consumer and voter confidence, along with a bleak economic and entrepreneurial outlook; four percent fewer citizens believe that “hard work gets you ahead,” and business startup costs as a percentage of Gross National Income (GNI) have doubled in the past two years.
In fact, the U.S. economy sub-score dropped to twentieth and its personal freedom score dropped four points to fourteenth, just above Uruguay.”

The report was first released on October 30, 2012, the group was hoping the report would have “electoral implications” but as always MSM remained silent:

“As the US struggles to reclaim the building blocks of the American Dream,” Gedmin noted, “now is the time to consider who is best placed to lead the country back to prosperity and compete with the more agile countries that have pushed the U.S. out of the top ten.”

Nanny Bloomberg fail! New York City imposes gasoline rationing plan

Gotta love how Obama and Nanny Bloomberg are ‘helping’ New York City recover from Hurricane Sandy. A week and a half later, and still people are without electricity and food. So what does Nanny Bloomberg do? He imposes a Jimmy Carter like gas rationing plan on NYC residents going by odd and even license plates. If you were around in the 1970s, you might find this strangely familiar. If you weren’t around then, time is repeating itself.

With long gas lines persisting more than a week after Superstorm Sandy, New York imposed a gasoline rationing plan Thursday that lets motorists fill up every other day.
Police will be at gas stations Friday morning to enforce the new system in New York City and on Long Island. Gas will be available to drivers with license-plate numbers ending in an odd number or a letter on Friday. On Saturday, drivers with license plates that end in even numbers of zero can fuel up.
“It’ll be bad. How am I going to get my jobs done?” said Parris Hancock, a driver for a Manhattan catering company who makes deliveries from morning to night. “I’ll have to get up at 4 a.m. and just keep going back for gas and waiting in long lines.”

Hey ‘Patrick.’ Why do I think you voted for not only Obama but Bloomberg also? So how’s that working out for ya?
BTW, where the hell is Obama? The election is over, so there are no more photo ops to be had. I guess he just doesn’t care.

Obama’s Katrina – Staten Island’s Sandy victims vent over lack of aid – FEMA packed up everything and left the area (Video)

Remember Obama’s photo op with tub of lard Chris Christie? The media convinced the dumb voters that somehow Obama was doing all he can to help the people of New York/New Jersey in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. A week and a half later, people are still starving, gas is being rationed, and people are still freezing, especially after the most recent Nor’Easter. Hurricane Sandy is unfolding to be Obama’s Katrina. But like the media will report on Obama’s failure to help the people affected by the storm or anything, but the New Yorkers who continually vote for Democrats are learning a lesson the hard way. It seems that FEMA decided to pack up and leave Staten Island already. Heckuva’ job Obammy!

Victims of an unforgiving one-two punch from superstorm Sandy and a nor’easter that both hit New York’s Staten Island say FEMA has forgotten them.
Already without power for more than a week in the wake of Sandy, hard-hit residents of the borough’s South Shore braved a winter storm Wednesday night, with many — perhaps hundreds — huddling in condemned homes and ignoring orders to evacuate out of fear looters would take what little Mother Nature has left them.
“FEMA packed up everything yesterday and left the area,” said MaryLou Wong, whose home in the Midland Beach neighborhood was destroyed. “They haven’t come back.”
