Comic George Lopez was booed off stage at a gala for juvenile diabetes in Denver last week, over an anti-Donald Trump routine that fell flat with the crowd.
We’re told the flap began when Trump backer and Liberty Media CEO Greg Maffei donated $250,000 but requested that Lopez cool it with the anti-Trump jokes at the Carousel Ball.
An attendee at the event — where tables sold from $5,000 to $100,000 to benefit the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes — commented on a YouTube video that “George was asked nicely to stop making Trump jokes by a man in front row [Maffei] who just donated $250K.” But “George doesn’t, continues. Gets booed.”
We’re told that Lopez responded to Maffei, “Thank you for changing my opinion on old white men, but it doesn’t change the way I feel about orange men.”
Trying to recover and sensing the audience turn, Lopez said, “Listen, it’s about the kids . . . I apologize for bringing politics to an event. This is America — it still is. So I apologize to your white privilege.”
Hey George, now you know why we want a wall. Your washed up Amigo. Your a never has been. A Millionaire Mexican making jokes about Trump does not play with middle America. Same as a millionaire black football player kneeling during the National Anthem. Trump jokes then white privilege statement to a white audience? Really dumbass? Do you tell black jokes at the NAACP? You need to save the Trump jokes for the audiences that don't work and have all that protest time on their hands. Problem is they don't have any money either. So scratch that. As a comedian on the stage, Lopez was never funny. Lopez booed off the stage, now that is funny..What a POS this asshole is. There he is, at a charity event to raise money for curing juvenile diabetes, and this asshole alienates the audience with his hatred of the President..Lopez is an ignorant moron. But why should we be surprised. This is the same guy who left his wife after she donated her kidney to him.
When will these liberals realize we're sick of their PC driven bullshit agenda. After Trump 2020 is my best guess. Lopez is one of the biggest racist in comedy today who would be nowhere without old white men and their privilege. There are only so many insults people can absorb before enough is enough, and you found out when it's enough Georgie. Real Americans are sick and tired of you left wing "comedians" spewing your hate toward our President. I hope you are booed at every venue you appear, and it's too bad your ex-wife couldn't take her kidney back.
