Twas the Night Before Marxmas

No aspect of our lives will be left untouched by Obama’s fundamental transformation of America. As we have seen, not even classics like “Twas the Night Before Christmas” are off limits from liberal reformers. Here is a new version of the poem for the Age of Obama, compliments of AC:

Twas the night before Marxmas, and all through the grad,
Not a worker was working; the market’s too bad.
The stockings were empty and that’s how they’d stay,
Because presents were rationed and coal went away.

The children were thinking of the people’s school,
Where they praise Comrade Chairman because that was the rule.

Turns out both Harry Reid and Diane Feinstein have carried guns for their protection

This is amazing, especially considering that Diane Feinstein is leading the charge on tougher gun laws and Harry Reid will bring her bill up for a vote at some point. They both have explained the need for people to carry guns. Here is Feinstein from 1995:

The cesspool known as Chicago probably has the toughest gun laws in the country, yet despite all the shootings, murders, and bloodshed, you never hear a peep about this from the corrupt state run media. Orwell Didn’t Go Far Enough…… Benghazi Report: “the Accountability Review Board determined that no individual officials ignored or violated their duties and recommended no disciplinary action now”..

Imagine for just one minute that George Bush, or any Republican was in the White House, and this exact same report was released……   “Leadership failures” at the State Department, but Hillary’s all good…. unreal. 
WASHINGTON (AP) — An independent panel charged with investigating the deadly Sept. 11 attack in Libya that killed a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans has concluded that systematic management and leadership failures at the State Department led to “grossly” inadequate security at the mission in Benghazi.  (full report here)

“Systematic failures and leadership and management deficiencies at senior levels within two bureaus of the State Department resulted in a Special Mission security posture that was inadequate for Benghazi and grossly inadequate to deal with the attack that took place,” the panel said.
The report singled out the Bureau of Diplomatic Security and the Bureau of Near East Affairs for criticism, saying there appeared to be a lack of cooperation and confusion over protection at the mission in Benghazi, a city in Eastern Libya that was relatively lawless after the revolution that toppled Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi.
Despite those failures, the Accountability Review Board determined that no individual officials ignored or violated their duties and recommended *no disciplinary action now. But it also said poor performance by senior managers should be grounds for disciplinary recommendations in the future.

They won the campaign handily and even had $14.2 million to spare, but the Obama-Biden campaign is still raising money, this time off the president’s comments about the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in Connecticut.
In email from chief campaign advisor David Axelrod that urges supporters to watch President Obama’s moving address to the community of Newtown, Conn., there are two links that open a page with a video player featuring the president’s speech and two donate buttons asking for $15-$1,000 for his campaign.
“The next chapter begins today. Stand with President Obama for the next four years,” headlines the donation page.
While he links to the donation pages in his email, Axelrod did not mention donations with his words. Instead, he expresses the horror the nation feels about the shootings.

Bin Laden film leak was referred to Justice; leaker top Obama official
Pentagon investigators concluded that a senior Defense Department official who’s been mentioned as a possible candidate to be the next CIA director leaked restricted information to the makers of an acclaimed film about the hunt for Osama bin Laden, and referred the case to the Justice Department, according to knowledgeable U.S. officials.
The Justice Department received the case involving Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence Michael Vickers in September, but so far it’s declined to launch a criminal prosecution, said two senior U.S. officials who requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter.
