My Take On Benghazi

I have a question for the Left, does it bother you at all that Barack Obama and his people went on television numerous times to tell us that this attack was the result of a YouTube video? There is not one communication that states in any way this was the case. It was a genuine lie to cover up something for a reason. Why did he feel the need to make up this lie? I consider myself a rational thinker and I just can’t get past this blatant lying. They keep claiming they wanted to get all the facts before reaching a conclusion but this wasn’t even close to what they were told may have happened and they continued along with Hillary Clinton to push it as the most likely cause. If Obama had granted the ambassador the security he requested, the ambassador and our American citizens would be alive today. But his policy was to disregard intelligence and previous bombings of the same embassy in prior months? OH wait, he may not of known because he misses 60% of his intelligence briefings. Nevermind. Let’s move on.
I don’t think that He even bothered to visit The Situation Room. Why? Well there would be pictures of him sitting there pretending to care. Where are the pictures? They came out fast during Sandy. Truth is, there are no pictures, there are no orders, there is nothing but lies. But then again, why should he have wasted his valuable time doing something in the best interest of US citizens when he could be resting up for the next fundraiser in Vegas?
Knowingly, willfully and with spite, putting American citizens in harm's way, on a mission for this government, is inexcusable, and equivalent to murder. This was an act that makes patriotic Americans, that have served their country bravely, shake our heads and wonder what the hell is going on. Regardless of the incompetence, stupidity, lies and malice this administration has for this country and our people, this single act should close the doors on these amateurs.

What's sad is the desire of individuals and the media to see this kept quiet. The way those on the Left are carrying water for a President is disgraceful. It continues to be the position of the liberals and their media, to continue to remain silent on murdered Americans. But of course if this was a Republican president, then it would be 24 hour in your face breaking news, and they would be leading the charge.
Remember when Cindy Sheehan would say something about Bush being a murderer, we could not turn the TV on without seeing her face in the news for like 12 months. Now that Obama needs his friends in the press to help him, most people have no clue who Sean Patrick Smith was. Remember how quick Obama reacted to a black professor in Boston who had an encounter with a white police officer. Remember the great "beer summit"? If he only reacted that fast for those four Americans. Just makes one think!
If this had been a Republican in the White House, Benghazi would be on the front page of Time Magazine, the NY Times, Newsweek and Michael Moore would have already released a movie on Benghazi, and everyone in the liberal media would be doing everything they could to bring down the President.  Talk about your double standards! Loss of lives and getting to the truth I guess just isn’t important enough for you Liberals. Its ok libs, we understand that brave men and women giving their lives for the ideals of this great country is a foreign concept to you, so we dont blame you for seeing this as a bump in the road.
President Obama, your refusal to act prior to and during the attack to save those four brave souls, and the lies you keep telling in this cover-up, they all say one thing. Obama you and your administration have blood on your hands. Any politician in any elected office, continuing to defend this President for this incompetence, should be voted out. And those looking to run for any elected office in the future, continuing to defend this President, should never be voted in.
This entire Democrat Party needs to be flushed from office on Tuesday. Vote angry, my friend.

Valerie Jarret: ‘After We Win This Election, It’s Our Turn Payback Time’

"This is Unbelievable. This scum needs to be removed and quick."  MC

“After we win this election, it’s our turn. Payback time. Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve. There is going to be hell to pay. Congress won’t be a problem for us this time. No election to worry about after this is over and we have two judges ready to go.”

Valerie Jarret: ‘After We Win This Election, It’s Our Turn Payback Time’

Excerpted from THE ULSTERMAN REPORT:

Openly declared as “Obama’s Brain”, and the figure whose second story West Wing office has been described by political insiders as the true Oval Office of the Obama White House, Valerie Jarrett is letting it be known that if Barack Obama secures election victory next week, there may be, quite literally, hell to pay for those who opposed him.

NOTE: This update was forwarded to me by Wall Street Insider who indicated they received it this morning via a direct source associated with Barack Obama’s campaign headquarters in Chicago.

Thought you would be very interested to hear of this. It appears this Jarrett creature is quite confident of a victory, and has every intention of making those who opposed her, and her boy, of paying dearly for their seeming crimes against them. As Election Day is nearly upon us, more and more are willing to speak outside the inner circle. Such is the case with this message received by me this morning from a source who has been working for us via Chicago for several months now. Their campaign appears increasingly confident, I assume, due to the now adoring media coverage of their boy’s little march with the commoners following this week’s storm.
It has been a revolting display by some in our media has it not? Here then is the most recent report I received our Chicago source. I first passed it along to our mutual friend with no response, so now I pass it along to you in the hopes you deem it worthy to publish as its sharing will serve a related purpose with another I hope to secure a favor from in the very near future. And if you have any concerns regarding the source – don’t. They are being thoroughly protected despite their understandable trepidation. As you have been.
And while our friend was clearly upset yesterday with how the storm altered our immediate strategies that were to have concluded this final week of the campaign, I prefer to believe all is in God’s hands, and if that was to be, then so be it. My efforts remain undiminished, if not my strength. I hope you share my belief and determination in that regard. That said, there has been movement favoring Obama over the last few days. Such is the reality that we must now deal with and plan accordingly. Crying nor profanity will assist in successfully navigating that reality.
-WSI

HERE NOW IS THE UPDATE WSI RECEIVED VIA A SOURCE FROM CHICAGO THIS MORNING:
A rep from Jarrett office was in today. She gave us a finish line pep talk and then afterwards, heard her saying how Jarrett is very excited about a 2nd term agenda and a big part of that agenda is to punish everyone who opposed them during the first term and the campaign. Strange that everything was “Ms. Jarrett wants this, and Ms. Jarrett is looking forward to that”. You hardly heard Obama’s name mentioned by her which I guess reinforces what people are saying. Valerie Jarrett really is the power in the White House. I know that when her representative showed up it was like royalty was visiting. All the big dogs were lined up to meet her and acting real friendly and they gave us a heads up an hour before and told us we better “put on a good show” while she was here.

The part that really stuck out to me was when I overheard the rep say that Jarrett told them, “After we win this election, it’s our turn. Payback time. Everyone not with us is against us and they better be ready because we don’t forget. The ones who helped us will be rewarded, the ones who opposed us will get what they deserve. There is going to be hell to pay. Congress won’t be a problem for us this time. No election to worry about after this is over and we have two judges ready to go.” She was talking directly to about three of them. Sr. staff. And she wasn’t trying to be quiet about it at all. And they were all listening and shaking their heads and smiling while she said it. Pretty creepy.
Why are they so confident about winning next week? We aren’t getting any numbers in the office that has any of us knowing Obama will win. It will be close. Jarrett and her people seem so confident. Why is that? Do you have any information on why she is so confident? I’m worried. Benghazi was supposed to play big this weekend. That is what everybody here was bracing for last week. You could really tell the staffers were freaking out. Now nobody is talking about it. Like it was never a concern. Like it never even happened. Don’t you have people to help with that? What happened? You said it was going to be a game changer. I told some others it would be and now I’m kind of hanging out there. Not the only one around here who got a real bad vibe after the Alex thing. Help! Need some good news after today!

Amid Sandy’s devastation, Long Island union sent written demand to Florida utilities: Pay dues or stay home

“I thought, ‘Is this really happening?’”

In a two-page Oct. 29 contract, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) local 1049 demanded union dues, pay hikes and benefit contributions from Florida electric utilities before its workers would be permitted to help reconnect power to Long Island communities. The demand came as Hurricane Sandy was bearing down on the Northeastern United States, stranding tens of millions without electricity.
The “Letter of Assent,” which The Daily Caller obtained from the Florida Municipal Electric Association, demanded 11 separate financial commitments from municipal power companies and electrical cooperatives in the Sunshine State. The agreement, for any utility that decided to sign it, would have been in force from Oct. 29 to Nov. 29.
Barry Moline, the association’s executive director, told TheDC that by Nov. 1 the union, based in the central Long Island town of Hauppauge, had relented and stopped insisting that nonunion crews pay dues and other union fees.

“The union director” himself placed a phone call to withdraw the letter, Moline said during a telephone interview Saturday. But that came only after Moline had notified a national trade group, the American Public Power Association, which turned outrage into action.

IBEW letter to Florida utilities after Hurricane Sandy
Letter of Assent E No Car GENERIC

The Florida Municipal Electric Association is a statewide trade group that represents 34 separate utility companies. The letter, Moline said, was sent to Florida’s nonunion power companies.
“We had crews ready to go on Monday when the storm hit,” he told TheDC.  ”We had dozens of line workers ready to go. There have been hundreds of line workers who have been told, ‘We don’t want you unless you’re part of the union.’ And as a result, people in New York and New Jersey are having the power turned on slower than everywhere else.”
“The word we were getting all week was that New York was short by hundreds of [electric] linemen,” he told TheDC. “Well, okay. We’ve got them. Florida is two days away, so you need a head start.”
Of those workers who were ready to drive north, he said, “probably about 25 stayed put” because of the Long Island IBEW local’s demands. “Another 35 were delayed by five days.”
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Friday that he wouldn’t permit discrimination against nonunion crews eager to help reconnect consumers who have gone without power for days. He threatened to invoke his office’s emergency powers if necessary.
But in New York, no government official has stepped in to ensure that utility crews from other states won’t have to show their union membership cards before going to work — even though their own employers are paying for them to repair power lines in the Empire State.
Eventually, Moline said, his state’s crews “went everywhere else” affected by Sandy, “but it was only in New York where the union had to give their blessing.”
“It just made me sick that you’ve got people who have no power,” he said, “and you hear about a lot of people dying.”
On Saturday TheDC requested comments from New York State Public Service Commissioner James Larocca and spokespersons for Gov. Andrew Cuomo, State Labor Commissioner Peter Rivera and New York City May0r Michael Bloomberg.
Only one of those persons responded and asked for a copy of the letter. He would not answer questions on the record about whether government agencies could have exercised — or did exercise — emergency powers to clear the way for nonunion power crews who wanted to assist.
N.Y. Energy Law 5-117 addresses the governor’s special powers “during [an] energy or fuel emergency,” but those powers are limited to fuel and energy allocation, stopping wasteful energy uses, and temporarily waiving environmental laws.
TheDC also emailed Don Daley Jr., IBEW local 1049′s business manager and financial secretary, for comment. Daley’s name appeared on the “Letter of Assent” emailed to the Florida utilities, as the person who would sign on the union’s behalf.
He did not respond to questions about whether his union is using a natural disaster to grow its membership and collect revenue.
Claims similar to Florida’s have come in from Alabama and Georgia since the superstorm hit, but this report marks the first time documentary evidence has been presented to the public. (RELATED: Ga. power crew turned away from Sandy-stricken NY for refusing to join union)
The letter received by Florida utilities demanded that they pay IBEW member dues, provide workers with union-scale wages plus overtime, and allow crews to observe the “normal working hours” dictated by the IBEW’s contract.
It also required the companies to pay fixed percentages of every worker’s hourly wage into seven separate union-controlled funds, including a $9.75 per work-hour payment to the IBEW’s health care plan and 22.5 cents for every dollar of salary into its pension fund.
TheDC calculated that for a nonunion crew foreman normally earning $40 per hour in Florida, the mandated higher wages plus union contributions and dues would force a utility to pay $67.74 per hour for each worker completing power restoration tasks in New York.
For work performed on weekends or after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays, that overall rate would jump to $70.38.
On Saturday TheDC reported that a Florida utility crewman said his employer idled workers while a much longer union contract document went through legal review earlier in the week.
An IBEW spokesman told TheDC on Friday that ”the IBEW did not send the documents, nor did any of our locals.”
But he didn’t reply when asked if he had communicated with all 273 locals in the union districts where Sandy’s impact was felt. Those include 20 IBEW locals in New Jersey, 48 in New York, 10 in Connecticut and 52 in Pennsylvania.
It’s now clear that at least one of those 48 New York locals — no. 1049 on long Island — did make membership demands as a condition of Florida utilities coming north to help restore electricity.
The name of the letter’s electronic file was “letter of assent E  No  Car GENERIC,” suggesting that it may have been drafted first for North Carolina utilities. So far, no utilities from that state have come forward to say they were approached by IBEW local 1049.
Moline said some power utilities in Florida are unionized and others are not. That decision should be approached thoughtfully and deliberately, he explained. “We’re not going to be held hostage.”
“I’m not anti-union,” he insisted. “I think unions are fine. I was just surprised to find that in the middle of an emergency that the union would stand in the way.”
“I didn’t know how the Long Island Power Authority was putting up with it,” he said. “The union was saying, ‘No, you have to join us first.’”
“I thought, ‘Is this really happening?’”

Well, he certainly didn’t care about Benghazi SEALs.
That’s clear.
The SEALs say 95% of their peers will not vote for Barack Obama.

Cher: Ryan 'Looks Like Dracula,' GOP 'Sick'

"Hey Cher, before you start making fun of people, first look in the mirror, and second, MC

The pro-Obama Super PAC, the Jewish Council for Education & Research put out a new ad titled “Don’t Let Mitt Turn Back Time on Women.” It features Oscar-winning actress and singer Cher and comic Kathy Griffin.

Watching this, I remembered that the Twitchy crew follows Cher on Twitter so I checked in to see what thoughts she might have had lately about the other side being evil. Situation: Dire.

Is she saying that she … actually prefers the Bushitler to Romney? I expected we’d reach that point soon after Romney was elected and the left dusted off its old “truth to power” shtick, but here we are a few days out from voting and we’re already seeing it. Any readers have a second-grader in the house who’d be willing to read that last tweet for us and tell us what she’s trying to say?

Nevada’s Biggest Newspaper Trashes Obama in Scathing Editorial

If you missed this you should check it out now, it’s a must read.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal published this on Friday…
This administration is an embarrassment on foreign policy and incompetent at best on the economy – though a more careful analysis shows what can only be a perverse and willful attempt to destroy our prosperity. Back in January 2008, Barack Obama told the editorial board of the San Francisco Chronicle that under his cap-and-trade plan, “If somebody wants to build a coal-fired power plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them.” He added, “Under my plan … electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.” It was also in 2008 that Mr. Obama’s future Energy Secretary, Steven Chu, famously said it would be necessary to “figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe” – $9 a gallon.
Yet the president now claims he’s in favor of oil development and pipelines, taking credit for increased oil production on private lands where he’s powerless to block it, after he halted the Keystone XL Pipeline and oversaw a 50 percent reduction in oil leases on public lands.
These behaviors go far beyond “spin.” They amount to a pack of lies. To return to office a narcissistic amateur who seeks to ride this nation’s economy and international esteem to oblivion, like Slim Pickens riding the nuclear bomb to its target at the end of the movie “Dr. Strangelove,” would be disastrous.
Candidate Obama said if he couldn’t fix the economy in four years, his would be a one-term presidency.
Mitt Romney is moral, capable and responsible man. Just this once, it’s time to hold Barack Obama to his word. Maybe we can all do something about that, come Tuesday.
READ IT ALL.
So I guess Nevada’s in play then, right?

Pew Survey: Network News Coverage Favors Obama

Pew Research released a survey of 2012 media coverage Friday which shows the three major networks -- ABC, CBS, and NBC -- are more favorable in their coverage of President Obama than Mitt Romney.

In its survey, Pew examined the media coverage of the two presidential candidates from August 27 to October 21 by the morning news shows -- ABC's Good Morning America, NBC's Today Show, and CBS This Morning -- and their evening news counterparts on the same networks. Morning shows' coverage (only the first half hour was considered) of Mitt Romney was positive 18% of the time and negative 27% of the time. Obama fared similarly with 13% positive and 30% negative.
Coverage of both candidates on morning shows was negative overall, but Romney had a 1.5-to-1 ratio of negative to positive stories while Obama was 2.3-to-1. Removing so-called "horse race" coverage (stories concerned with the direction the election is going and the strategies of the two candidates) from consideration, Romney actually received more positive (26%) than negative (16%) stories, while the ratio of Obama's positive stories remained negative.
While Romney enjoyed slightly positive coverage on the morning news programs, the numbers shift dramatically if you look at the evening news shows. When combined, the coverage for ABC World News, NBC Nightly News, and CBS Evening News for Obama was positive 25% of the time and only negative 23% of the time, a roughly even split. By contrast, Romney's coverage was 2-to-1 negative, with 16% of the stories about him being positive to 33% negative.
Pew notes that removing the horse race coverage actually makes the split worse for Romney. Without these stories about who is winning and why, Obama's coverage goes to 27% positive and only 17% negative; Romney's barely budges at 17% positive to 25% negative. Evening news was negative about Romney by a 2-to-1 ratio when including horse race stories and 1.4-to-1 negative without them. Meanwhile, they were 1-to-1 on Obama with horse race coverage and 1.6-to-1 positive without it.
So morning news shows were "less negative" to "slightly positive" when covering Romney, while evening shows were "positive" to "very positive" for Obama. You might be inclined to think that's a wash overall, as the Pew report seems to suggest. What isn't being considered is that evening news programs get far higher viewership ratings than morning news programs.
Looking at recent ratings for all three morning news shows combined suggests they get a hair under 12 million daily viewers. In contrast, the evening news shows attract about 22 million viewers combined on average. The slight advantage Romney gets from positive morning coverage is overshadowed by the 2-to-1 negative coverage he gets on shows averaging twice as many viewers.
It's also worth noting that the morning shows are 2 hours long. At least some of those 12 million daily viewers are tuning in for segments featuring celebrities or early morning weather reports, not for political news. Conversely, the evening shows are only 30 minutes long and are drawing an audience purely looking for hard news.
It's encouraging that Romney received some positive coverage from morning shows, but it doesn't change the fact that the core of the network news media, the evening broadcasts, were still 2-to-1 negative on Romney even as they were mildly positive for Obama. Removing horse race stories from the mix makes the evening shows less negative toward Romney (1.5-to-1) but even more positive for Obama.

Pew: MSNBC's Bias Far Worse Than Fox

"By the way Libs, this is the same polling company you always use on your network propaganda shows" MC

This news is certainly no surprise to anyone on the right, but a new Pew study finds that MSNBC is far more biased than Fox News.

The Pew study, Winning The Media Campaign 2012, tracked the political coverage that President Obama and GOP nominee Mitt Romney received between the conventions and the final days of the campaign. The study of the media landscape (including social media) shows that Obama got a bit more positive coverage than Mitt Romney, but that his positive coverage took a nosedive after his miserable performance at the first debate.
But one of the more interesting aspects of the Pew study is the breakdown of bias from MSNBC and Fox News. This part of the study shows that MSNBC was far more biased against Romney than Fox was against Obama.
MSNBC featured 71 percent negative coverage of Mitt Romney, whereas Fox coverage of Obama was only 46 percent unfavorable. What's more, positive Romney stories on MSNBC reached all the way to a soaring three percent!
David Zurawik of the Baltimore Sun exactly pegs these results. Of MSNBC, Zurawik says, "That's not a news channel."
That's a propaganda machine, and owner Comcast should probably change [MSNBC President] Phil Griffin's title from president to high minister of information, or something equally befitting the work of a party propaganist [sic] hack in a totalitarian regime. You wonder how mainstream news organizations allow their reporters and corrdespondents [sic] to appear in such a cauldron of bias.
Why some viewers consider commentators such as Chris "Tingles" Matthews, Ed Schultz, or Rachel Maddow anything other than complete propagandists is anyone's guess, but this Pew study proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that there isn't a single unbiased minute on MSNBC, while Fox News appears to be far more balanced by comparison.
Another interesting part of the Pew study is that social media is even less forgiving than the Old Media establishment. This, of course, should also be no surprise. After all, social media is not expected to be unbiased. It is built on everyone’s opinion, not any even-handed coverage of the news.

Bloomberg Refuses National Guard Entry Into Brooklyn Because They Carry Guns

Hey New Yorkers, you wanted a Liberal running the place. Even gave him an illegal extra term. It doesn’t get any dimmer. Quite a contrast from Guiliani after 9/11 though, wouldn’t you say? MC

Mayor Michael Bloomberg turned the National Guard away from Brooklyn because they were carrying guns.
NewsBusters reported, via FOX Nation:
Mayor Bloomberg has snubbed Borough President Markowitz’s impassioned plea to bring the National Guard to Hurricane Sandy-scarred Brooklyn — arguing that approving the Beep’s request would be a waste of federal manpower and turn the borough into a police state.
“We don’t need it,” Mayor Bloomberg said on Wednesday during a press update on the city’s ongoing Hurricane Sandy cleanup. “The NYPD is the only people we want on the street with guns.”
Markowitz demanded the National Guard’s help just an hour before Bloomberg’s press conference, claiming that the NYPD and FDNY are “brave — but overwhelmed” by all the challenges Sandy brought when it visited the borough on Monday night: flooding, power outages, and looting.
