President Barack Obama, first lady Michelle Obama and daughters Malia and Sasha attended an Easter service at the 19th Street Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. on Sunday where they greeted members of the congregation, and the first lady blew kisses to the crowd.
“The president and Mrs. Obama greeted everyone they could,” the pool press report stated. “Obama high-fived a baby boy, hugged and kissed women, and Michelle blew kisses from inside their pew.”
The pool press report did not say whether the Rev. Derrick Harkins mentioned Jesus Christ in his Easter sermon, but it did note that Harkins spoke about people “living in the shadows and the margins,” including “LGBT” people.

Rahm Emanuel Fudging Crime Stats To Make It Look Like They’re Dropping

Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy frequently insists that warm weather does not cause shootings. However,the last week’s temperatures support the notion that a break from the cold brings gun-toting gang members back to the streets.
Vendettas, which were on ice over the long brutal winter, are hot and fresh again.
Temperatures on Thursday nudged up into the 60s and eight people were shot, including a 12-year-old boy.
Last weekend, restaurant owners scrambled to set up their outdoor dining in the sunshine. At the same time, 36 were shot in 36 hours.
“We’re making progress but we need to do more,” McCarthy said.
However, an investigation published by Chicago Magazine claims that the “progress” is an illusion. The article says that under pressure from Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Chicago cops have been reclassifying murders and violent crimes. The result is a nearly unprecedented drop in numbers.
“This is a betrayal of public trust in a sense that Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Superintendent Garry McCarthy are public servants. They are paid by our tax dollars and we deserve in return truth from them,” said Elizabeth Fenner, Editor in Chief of Chicago Magazine.

  This is a very sad story about a bear.  Everybody should heed the warnings not to feed wildlife because they become dependent and don’t forage for themselves any longer. It is such a tragedy to see what has been done to our country’s wildlife. The photo below captures a disturbing trend.

Animals that formerly were self-sufficient are now showing signs of acting like humans. They have apparently learned to just sit and wait for the government to step in and provide for their care and sustenance.

This photo is of a black bear in Montana. He’s nicknamed Bearack Obearma. It is believed that he has become a campground organizer.
