The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left. -- Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV)

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty. Thomas Jefferson

Liberalism: Ideas so good, you have to be forced to accept them.

''ARE YOU AN AMERICAN --or a LIBERAL.''

Good Morning Deplorables

It is Sunday 4/23/2017

The Sunday Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

The Story Gen. John Kelly Told About Two Marines…

Via Business Insider:
Nine years ago, two US Marines from very different walks of life met for the first time when they were put on guard duty at 7:30 in the morning.
Just minutes later, the pair of Marines guarding a gate in Ramadi, Iraq, were staring down a large blue truck packed with 2,000 pounds of explosives. They could have sought cover, like an Iraqi policeman on the scene who ran away and lived.
Instead, Lance Cpl. Jordan Haerter and Cpl. Jonathan Yale stood their ground. Their split-second choice saved the lives of 50 people.
In 2010, then-Lt. Gen. John Kelly — who now serves as Secretary of Homeland Security — told their story to a packed house just four days after he had lost his own son, Robert, to combat in Afghanistan.
He spoke of the 9/11 attacks, the enemy that America was fighting, and praised the brave men and women who had volunteered to go overseas since then. Then he moved to the remarkable story of these two Marines, which he told the crowd, showed the “quality of steel in their backs.”

Angry Muslim Employees File a Lawsuit and Plan to Rally Against Amazon Due to Lack of Prayer Rooms

Fox News reports:
Outraged Muslims are reportedly planning a May 1 demonstration at the Amazon headquarters in Seattle, Washington. The company is under fire after several Muslim security guards demanded time and space to pray five times a day, while on the job.
The guards contend in a lawsuit filed this week that the subcontractor who employs them does not appropriately accommodate their faith and retaliates against those who speak out.
The Service Employees International Union and the guards allege that Amazon grants high-earning tech workers conference rooms to pray in, but they do not provide the same accommodation for contracted security officers during their law-mandated work breaks.
Amazon and the security contractor have refuted the allegations.

Screw them, their prayer room, and the goats they rode in on. Talk about KARMA! This is the same Amazon whose CEO, Bezos, who cheered a Seattle activist judge when he blocked President Trump's Executive Order to keep people from coming here from terrorists countries. Reap what you sow Amazon. Reap it. This happening to Bezos, is poetic justice, so let him continue supporting leftists and globalists. He can tell these muzzies  to apply at Starbucks. The liberal CEO jackass says he needs 10,000 more Muslim employees. Btw, knowing Bezos, he'll cave to this just to further his political agenda. And to any other company who hires muslims and then gets sued for this BS. You'll get no pity from me! Islam is cancer and liberals are metastasizing it.

HOWARD DEAN
Howard Dean Lambasted for Falsely Claiming First Amendment Doesn’t Protect Hate Speech

Via Free Beacon:
Former Democratic National Committee chair and presidential candidate Howard Dean earned the scorn of social media Thursday when he tweeted that hate speech is not covered by the First Amendment.
Dean was responding to a former New York Times reporter, who referenced a past comment made by conservative commentator Ann Coulter.
Dean’s assertion is false: “hate speech” is fully protected in the United States under Supreme Court precedents such as Brandenburg v. Ohio and Snyder v. Phelps. The only hateful or bigoted speech that can be banned is incitement to “imminent lawless action” that poses an immediate threat.
Twitter users were quick to mock Dean.

If the first amendment didn't protect hate speech, there wouldn't be a democrat party. "Pigs in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon", "Wadda we want, dead cops, when do we want it, NOW", "I hate white men",  is not hate speech, but free speech with these assholes. But "Jesus loves you" or "I support traditional marriage", definitely hate speech. Hey Howeird, all speech is protected by the First Amendment. ALL SPEECH! Even speech you disagree with or that offends you is protected. Nowhere in the Constitution does it state you have the "right" to never be offended! Not one single place. Freedom of speech means the right to say something you don't want to hear. Go away Howeird, your time is gone.
