Al Gore’s ‘An Inconvenient Sequel’ Bombs At Box Office, Ranks 15th

Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power” failed to resonate with many viewers.

The Washington Times reported Monday that the film, which is a follow-up to the 2006 Oscar-winning documentary “An Inconvenient Truth,” reached the 15th spot at the box office in its first weekend since being released on July 28.

The publication added the movie, which focuses on climate change, earned about $1 million. “An Inconvenient Truth” made nearly $50 million at the box office.

Illinois Just Made Barack Obama’s Birthday An Official State Holiday…

Former President Barack Obama got a special treat for his birthday this year – his very own holiday.

Governor Bruce Rauner signed into law Friday a measure to designate Aug. 4 as “Barack Obama Day” across Illinois.

The newest state holiday will be celebrated each year on the 44th president’s birthday, beginning in 2018.

The holiday will be “observed throughout the State as a day set apart to honor the 44th President of the United States of America who began his career serving the People of Illinois in both the Illinois State Senate and the United States Senate, and dedicated his life to protecting the rights of Americans and building bridges across communities,” Senate Bill 55 reads.

Of course it's an official state holiday. Barry didn't work when he was president, and now everyone can be Barack Obama for a day! Now his "People" can take a break from relaxing all the time. And do we send presents? What's the best way to wrap a turd? 

Maxine Waters Won’t Rule Out All-Black Party

Maxine Waters wouldn’t rule out the concept of an all-black political party when asked about it on Monday.

And they can call it the Black Panther Party. Should make for entertaining conventions. Is Mad Maxine aware of what minority means? Does she know what is the percentage of the black population in the US? Well, it is13.2%. Not exactly a number that could win elections unless they can vote 3 or 4 times! And that is possible. But that is complex math, and it would take too much time to explain complex math to her or her constituents. They would be better served explaining to them how to save Guam from tipping over. Or that Armstrong planted the US flag on Mars. Maxine Waters is the gift that just keeps on giving.
