MSNBC’s Joy Ann Reid had NAACP board member Rev. William Barber on her show Saturday morning and they both immediately attacked Scalise, who is unable to defend himself being that he’s in the hospital recovering from a gunshot wound.

Reid: “There’s a whole country out there and a lot of people, at least in my Twitter timeline, and it’s a delicate thing, because everybody is wishing the congressman well and hoping that he recovers, but Steve Scalise has a history that we’ve all been forced to sort of ignore on race. He did come to leadership after some controversy over attending a white nationalist event, which he says he didn’t know what it was.”
“He also co-sponsored a bill to amend the Constitution to define marriage as between a man and a woman. He co-sponsored the House healthcare bill, which as you said would gut healthcare for millions of people including three million children and he cosponsored a bill to repeal the ban on semiautomatic weapons.”
“Because he is in jeopardy and everybody is pulling for him, are we required in a moral sense to put that aside in the moment?”
Her rhetoric is as ugly as she is. Inside and out. Joyless Reid, who is a racist, who is a person without morals, should be fired, but I won't be holding my breath. Morals to Joyless is like holy water to vampires. What a despicable excuse for a human being she is. Reid just pushes lies on every show she does or is in. She's a hardcore progressive just like her mentor Donna Brazille. Joyless, like all libtards, is a coward. She uses her race as a weapon to demonize anyone she doesn't like. I am beginning to think Joyless is the offspring of Maxine Waters and Al Sharpton. She sure acts like it.. And looks like it too. What a low form of life, this "Joy" is. And that "minister", William "the Buffet Slayer" Barber saying, I am paraphrasing here, but essentially he said that as a result of being shot ,Steve Scalise should take notice of that anger and change his political views. Are you f**king kidding me! WOW! The man is fighting for his life after an assassination attempt by a democrat supporter who wanted to kill republicans, and these two morons spew out crap like this. More bullshit from the liberal playbook, let's go after the victim not the criminals. Anyone not capable of putting aside such petty concerns when a man is fighting for his life is scum, pure and simple.
