‘Are You Crazy?’ Paul Ryan Told Republicans To Run From Trump To Save Themselves In 2016

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan advised Republicans to run away from candidate Donald Trump before the election in order to save themselves and hold a future-President Hillary Clinton accountable, Republican Rep. Louie Gohmert of Texas revealed in an exclusive video interview with The Daily Caller New Foundation.

“Are you crazy? We haven’t held anyone accountable. You haven’t even let us hold the IRS commissioner accountable [for using government power to harm President Obama’s political adversaries],” an astonished Gohmert said to the speaker on a call.

“We don’t want to go down in history as the generation that was fine with making the future for our kids much worse than we had it,” he said.

Pelosi’s Dad Once Praised ‘The Lives’ Of Robert E. Lee And Stonewall Jackson At Statue Dedication

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s father, the late former Baltimore Mayor Thomas D’Alesandro Jr., once lauded Confederate generals Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson at a monument dedication ceremony in his city over half a century ago.

The statues were torn down by Baltimore authorities last Tuesday after the violent events surrounding the removal of a Robert E. Lee statue in Charlottesville, Va. last week.

According to The Baltimore Sun, the statue, first erected in 1948, included a dedication ceremony of prominent city politicians like Pelosi’s father who led the municipality at the time.

At the dedication, D’Alesandro said of the monument, “Today, with our nation beset by subversive groups and propaganda which seeks to destroy our national unity, we can look for inspiration to the lives of Lee and Jackson to remind us to be resolute and determined in preserving our sacred institutions.”

Kaepernick Makes Black History Smithsonian Before Clarence Thomas

Free agent NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick will be featured in a Black Lives Matter collection at the National Museum of African American History and Culture, museum curators announced this weekend.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, the nation’s longest-serving black justice, remains absent from the museum.

USA Today Sports reports items belonging to Kaepernick will be incorporated into the museum’s Black Lives Matter collection. The quarterback became a symbol of the nation’s complicated racial politics and social relations when he declined to stand for the national anthem during the 2016 NFL season. The quarterback said his gesture signaled solidarity with the BLM movement.

“The National Museum of African American History and Culture has nearly 40,000 items in our collection,” sports curator Damion Thomas told USA Today. “The Colin Kaepernick collection is in line with the museum’s larger collecting efforts to document the varied areas of society that have been impacted by the Black Lives Matter movement.”

Apparently the black Smithsonian is competing with the Nobel Peace Prize morons, who awarded prizes to Obama and Gore for things that never happened. But I'm not surprised, made up history is so much more satisfying to the low IQ's than real history. And fake accomplishments are so much easier that actually accomplishing something. It's amazing that a distinguished black man like Clarence Thomas made it all the way to the Supreme Court, something few Americans of any color have been able to achieve, and he is not set up as a huge role model for black children as to what they can achieve in life in America. It's because he's earned it instead of being given it. Says a lot to honor a self centered, America hating, ignorant former "football" player before an educated, intelligent, Supreme Court Justice. I can't believe the values of this nation have fallen this far into the gutter. How ridiculous and stupid is this? What's next, a tribute to cop killer Assata Shakur? Is the violence against police officers by black lives matter also being featured in the museum? This shows that even the Smithsonian is nothing but a leftist institution who does not deserve support in any way.
