The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left. -- Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV)

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty. Thomas Jefferson

Hussein Spends $100 Million On Family Trip To Africa But Cancels Marines’ July 4th Fireworks

"This should send a resounding message, Hussein is nothing but an asshole! This bastard keeps trying to piss off our military and that never works out well, just ask the Muslim Brotherhood President camel jockey in Egypt. All our military ever wanted was enough respect and appreciation to get decent food and housing, excellent training, a little money for education, the chance to protect our country, and an occasional, "Thank you," from it's citizens. But I guess some fireworks, or an airshow to keep up their morale and to acknowledge that all the hardships and long separations from their families is too much to ask from this POS president. But then why should he care, he has no regard for the military nor our American traditions because he didn't grown up in America, nor was he taught any history about America, and unfortunately there are a lot of our younger folks who have grown up not taught what it means to be an American, nor are they going to be taught if the libtards have their way. But Hussein and his mooching wife, kids, and mother in law can take their $100 million vacation. They just laugh their asses off at us and could care less what anyone thinks. This family has absolutely no respect For America. Independence Day doesn't mean shit to them. He and squatch aren't shelling out anything 'for that flag.' I hate these treasonous grifters." MC

Quote of the Day:

"...those activists who want to make the Palestinian cause the 21st-century equivalent of the movement that opposed South African apartheid in the 20th century will—assuming they conform to basic standards of honesty—find it very difficult to invoke Mandela as support. Mandela’s memoirs are full of positive references to Jews and even Israel. He recalls that he learned about guerilla warfare not from Fidel Castro, but from Arthur Goldreich, a South African Jew who fought with the Palmach during Israel’s War of Independence. He relates the anecdote that the only airline willing to fly his friend, Walter Sisulu, to Europe without a passport was Israel’s own El Al. And the ultimate smoking gun—the equation of Israel’s democracy with apartheid—doesn’t exist.

Mandela once wrote that Jews, in his experience, were far more sensitive about race because of their own history. Now, it is absolutely true that there are parallels between the oppression suffered by South African blacks under racist white rulers, and Jews living under hostile non-Jewish rulers. The notorious Group Areas Act, which restricted black residency rights, brings to mind the enforced separation of Jews into the “Pale of Settlement” by the Russian Empress Catherine in 1791. Many of the other apartheid regulations, like the ban on sexual relationships between whites and blacks, carried echoes of the Nazi Nuremburg Laws of 1935.

Mandela’s diagnosis was that Africans should be the sovereigns of their own destiny..." --Ben Cohen
