My Rant Of The Day

With All The Problems, Barry Spends Saturday On The Golf Course…

PALM SPRINGS (CBS/AP) — President Barack Obama is spending a long Father’s Day weekend in the desert oasis of Rancho Mirage.
The president and the first lady arrived at the Palm Springs International Airport Friday night after visiting an Indian reservation earlier in the day.
Congressman Raul Ruiz, who represents the Coachella Valley, was delighted to greet Air Force One on the tarmac.
“I’m an emergency doctor and my wife is a nurse and it was the first time I got to introduce my wife to the first lady,” Ruiz said. “We congratulated her on combating youth obesity.”
The visit is Obama’s third trip to the Coachella Valley in the past year.
The Obamas are staying with White House decorator Michael Smith and his partner, U.S. Ambassador to Spain James Costos, at their vacation home.
The president’s handlers scoped out some golf courses and gave a list to Obama just in case he wants to spend Father’s Day on the links.

"Yes, Barry spends Saturday in meetings about Iraq? No In meetings about the illegal children flooding our borders? No. In meetings on how to get our soldier held in Mexico freed? No. In meetings to try and figure out how to get millions of American's back in the labor force? No. In meetings on how to solve the VA disaster? No. In meetings on what is wrong with our foreign policy? No.Then what is Barry engaged in? Ah, another round of golf. Yes, that's what he feels is important while all these other petty crisis is going on around him. I'm sure he has "his people" working "around the clock" trying to solve them for him while he tends to more important things. That is after they gathered info on which courses are rated the best to play while in Palm Springs. Isn't it wonderful that his desk is clear and he has time for golf. All hell is breaking loose and President Putz is playing golf. Now, remind me again, why is this jackass still in office? The nation and the world is going to hell in a hand-basket and instead of being in Washington, he is playing golf and fund-raising! Low Info Voters and ass kissing, make believe media, are you proud of yourselves now? The LIV's probably, sorry, definitly, don't know what Barry does all day, or if they do, they don't f**king care. Because you know, he works so hard, he's entitled for some relaxation. Afterall, the don't pay for it, they benefit from it. I would have never believed, with all that is going on, that Barry would consider playing golf. That he would know that it wouldn't look good for just for the optics alone. But then, Barry could care less because Barry is nothing but a worthless POS, and I can't say it enough. All is going as he planned; why should he worry? He is the most treasonous president ever. His goal of destroying, I mean transforming America is going just as planned. So Barry can just take a little rest, play a little golf, smoke a little pot, and just relax. Because Osama is dead, Al Qaida has been decimated, and GM is alive. All is well with the world.

So, on this Father's Day Mr. President, since you are less than 1 hour away by air from Mexico, perhaps you can fly down to see your Marine being held in prison there. Maybe you can give him a

Happy Flag Day!

but below is what America is really about. May God bless our flag and this great nation." MC

Former Marine Stuns Crowd With Last Verse Of The Star Spangled Banner Which Most Americans Have Never Heard

Via IJR:

In this classic video, a Marine with a powerful voice stunned a patriotic crowd in 2010 by singing the stirring fourth verse of The Star Spangled Banner, which many Americans have never heard.

A look at Francis Scott Key’s soaring lyrics, first written in 1814 and made our national anthem in 1931, shows it is not just a pleasant ode to our flag that can be sung at sporting events and on the Fourth of July, but is a vision for the United States.

Here are the full lyrics:
Oh, say can you see by the dawn’s early light
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars thru the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe’s haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o’er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning’s first beam,
In full glory reflected now shines in the stream:
‘Tis the star-spangled banner! Oh long may it wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion,
A home and a country should leave us no more!
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps’ pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand
Between their loved home and the war’s desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav’n rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: “In God is our trust.”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
