Of course he did, the lying POS. If Schumer didn't lie, he'd have nothing to say. Schumer probably got his usual 30 shekels for the hatchet job. To Schumer being called out for lying is an honor. He did it for his cause, and Democrats have shown in the last months that truth, or country, or constitution will always come in second after party and donor interests.
Curious if Grassley or others that knew, weren't allowed to mention it for some reason? Can't think of any reason why they wouldn't be able to unless someone labeled it a National Security thing. The fact that it was so well known and never got leaked shows just how deep the swamp state is and how corrupt these lawmakers actually are. The fact that one of them would go as far as to continue to imply it when they knew the truth should trigger an ethics investigation.
