In a conversation with radio host Hugh Hewitt on Thursday, Sessions left the door open for a special counsel to take the lead on the investigation into these Obama-era scandals.“Well I’m going to do everything I possibly can to restore the independence and professionalism of the Department of Justice,” Sessions said. “So we’ll have to consider whether or not some outside counsel is needed. Generally, a good review of that internally is the first step before any such decision is made.”If the counsel finds wrongdoing, it will have the authority to bring charges, Sessions noted. He insisted it will only come to this if he concludes it will be necessary to restore the “independence and professionalism” of the department.

Justice needs to be served. It's been totally lawless for 8 years with the consent of half of the country and the media. All these accusations by democrats about Russia and everything else is their attempt to try and get rid of this administration because of what this administration might find out. They were sure Hillary would win so they didn't take the necessary steps to hide all the corruption. After Trump won they panicked, now they are scrambling to do something in order to hide the depths of their corruption. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind the level of corruption at the DOJ, State Department and other branches of government is beyond imagination. Even to the point were dissidents have been silenced. There is more than enough evidence to do this, so just do it.

I really, really don't want to see the idiot get a complete pass on all of the laws he has broken. If you say you're going to drain the swamp, you have to start by putting them behind bars. Leave no stone unturned. Go get them.
