 School Apologizes For Serving Fried Chicken, Watermelon At Lunch On Black History Month.

Officials at a Northern California private school are apologizing after a controversial lunch menu option to celebrate Black History Month.
Students at Carondelet High School for Girls in Concord wanted to come up with ways to observe the occasion during a lunchtime celebration Friday. But when the school announced a menu of fried chicken, cornbread and watermelon, other students and parents became offended.
KNTV-TV reports that school officials held an assembly on campus Wednesday to discuss the issue and also sent a letter apologizing to parents. Principal Nancy Libby wrote that the items were taken off of the menu and that the school doesn’t perpetrate racial stereotypes.
Libby also wrote the school will hold a diversity assembly for students and faculty.
Calls to the school were not immediately returned Thursday.

"Wow, this happened at a school in Calipornia? Who would have guessed it. I got to tell ya this is kinda funny. I got a good laugh when I saw this. Personally, I love fried chicken and watermelon. I love ribs, brisket, and pulled pork along with a nice cold draft beer. Really, who gives a rats ass? These victim class libtard racists need to get a life and quit bitchin all the time. I've never understood what the hell was so offensive about this. Now we have to worry about what we eat?
Now we have racist food? What the f**k is going on in this country? I ask you, are the Irish offended by comments about them liking corned beef & cabbage? Or the Italians about pasta? The French about snails or frog legs? Get over it and enjoy the food. Fried chicken, corn bread and watermelon are American classics. Enough already! It's time we stop apologizing to these thin skinned people. It only encourages them to be even more thinned skinned. We should tell them "tough shit" and to "get a life".
