Where she got either number remains a mystery, since the sequester only cuts $22 billion from the rate of growth of government spending this year. Maybe she has her numbers backwards. She is thinking about the 170 million that are on welfare and food stamps. She thinks the candy store is going to be forced to close. One thing is for certain, if it is said by Mad Maxine, you can be sure, she has no idea what she is talking about. But anyway, did you listen or read her statement? Here it is, "We don’t need to be having something like sequestration that’s going to cause these jobs losses, over 170 million jobs that could be lost."
