Economic Patriotism = Give Us More Money

In Obama’s new ad which you can watch below, he talks about economic patriotism.
In the lead to her post on the subject, Erika Johnsen asks what does that even mean?
I can answer that question. It means Obama thinks that giving more of your money to the government is patriotic.

Economic Patriotism = Spread the wealth around.
Economic Patriotism = Paying higher taxes is an act of patriotism.
Economic Patriotism = We know better than you how to spend your money.
Economic Patriotism = More government spending is the way to prosperity.
You see, $16 trillion dollars in debt isn’t enough to fundamentally transform America into the country Obama wants it to be and if you disagree, you’re unpatriotic. That’s what it means.
