The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left. -- Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV)

When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty. Thomas Jefferson

Democratic Surrogates Scatter When Asked About Obama's Kill List

One question that did not come up in Monday's foreign policy debate was the President's use of drones to target specific individuals, including American citizens, for death – aka, the president's "kill list." When asked about it in the spin room of the Hofstra debate last Tuesday, three different Obama surrogates--Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Chuck Schumer and Robert Gibbs--literally walked away from the question.

We Are Change is a left wing group which seems to have held on to two powerful strains of Bush-era progressive discontent: 9/11 trutherism and concern over diminished civil liberties during the war on terror. Under Obama, the latter concern translates into a focus on the indefinite detention of Gitmo detainees and the President's so-called kill list.
Members of We Are Change got into the spin room after the 2nd debate and asked a few Obama surrogates to address these questions. As you'll see, the surrogates literally walked away from the questions. First up is Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, who claims she has "no idea" what the question is about before walking away. Perhaps she missed this front page NY Times story

Video: Reporter Asking Questions Threatened by Eric Holder’s Bodyguard

After a visit by Attorney General Eric Holder to the Justice Department Voting Section yesterday, a reporter attempting to ask Holder questions about the visit was threatened by one of Holder’s bodyguards. Holder was visiting the Voting Section of the DOJ to pose for photographs with the attorneys who will be enforcing federal election law over the last two weeks of the presidential campaign.

The photos are expected to be delivered to the staff with a personalized note from the attorney general.
Media Research Center reporter Joe Schoffstall identified himself as media and attempted to gain access to the photo session and conversations between Holder and the DOJ election attorneys in the  7th floor conference room at 1800 G Street in Washington, D.C. This satellite office is located in a non-governmental building in northwest D.C.
Schoffstall was denied entry to the event by a Justice Department employee.
After the event, the reporter asked Holder questions as the attorney general left the building.

American Pravda Cheers For Dear Leader

According to Megyn Kelly of FOX News, journOlists in the press room at last night’s debate laughed and applauded when Obama made his condescending bayonets comment…
Fox News Channel anchor Megyn Kelly revealed that, while she watched the final presidential debate from the press room at Lynn College in Florida on Monday night, the assembled journalists burst into laughter and applause when President Barack Obama landed a rhetorical blow against Mitt Romney. When Romney said that Obama has presided over the downsizing of the Navy, Obama shot back “We also have fewer horses and bayonets.” Kelly claims that reporters exalted over this chiding of his Republican opponent.
The exact same thing happened during the last debate when so-called reporters applauded Obama’s attack on Mitt Romney’s wealth.
This is nothing new. Let’s take a walk down memory lane with Allahpundit…
This isn’t the first time reporters have been caught rooting publicly against a Republican, either. The Seattle Times gave bloggers a week of laughs five years ago when they admitted that some staff members had cheered Karl Rove’s resignation; the editor reprimanded them for showing partisanship in a place as “sacred and magical” as the newsroom. A few days later, Joe Scarborough revealed that people in the MSNBC “newsroom” had booed Bush consistently through one of his SOTUs. When he told MSNBC prez Phil Griffin about it, Griffin supposedly “turned red very quickly” and put a stop to it. And that’s how MSNBC became the sober, studiously nonpartisan investigative news team that you know today.
Tell me again how there’s no liberal bias in media.
Media types cheering Obama should come as no surprise to anyone. They helped elect him in 2008 and they’re trying to do the same thing in 2012.

MSNBC’s Morning Joe Crowd Boos 9 Year Old Girl for Supporting Mitt Romney

When “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski asked 9-year-old Annabelle who she thought should win the election her answer of Mitt Romney was met with a round of boos form the adult crowd watching the live broadcast.
